Getting started requires a little buffering, but it's completely understandable. I noticed that the seller said it was designed for time-lapse photography, so it couldn't rotate quickly or suddenly change the angle, so within the limits, it worked as well as the seller claimed.

I love this thing, i use it to take timelapse videos. But it is a pretty delicate item, you need to make sure you dont move the degree on it so you dont break the motor. Another thing is that i went hikinh and was on top of a boulder, took it out and the red switch fell off, and well rip. But ended up finding it, after that i just supper glued it back on, easy fix. Do it!!!

If you have use for it as I do in shooting home panoramas, it is and works great. I will see how durable it is as time and use passes.

I had high hopes for this pan motor. Problem is that it has to be near level to get the smoothest pan. Unfortunately, even if it is level, it will stop for a few seconds then jump to catch up.I use a camcorder to do 4k pans and this device doesn't do a smooth pan. My camcorder is a Sony AX53, which weighs 1 pound 6 ounces (with battery and SD card) (623 gm) . The specifications on this "Neewer Electric Panoramic Head" are exaggerated. It might work with a 6 pound load, but it will not be useful footage.I took this pan device to the coast and tried tilting it down about 10 degrees to the beach and waves, and it really jerked a lot when I did that.I wonder about some of the reviews... You all know that several of the reviews might be added by some people that get a free item for a good review of these products? Amazon cannot control these fake reviews, but just read all the reviews carefully. Most real reviews will leave detailed information on how the items worked for them.

I received one of these as a gift a few years ago and it worked for a while. I think I may have twisted the head by mistake which you absolutely should not do apparently. So I bought one to replace it, hopefully thinking that maybe their production had gotten better and it would not have that problem again. It was dead on arrival. Charged just fine. remote worked. Settings changed fine. But nothing. Tried multiple times over a few days. Tried the old remote from the old one I had never disposed of. Nothing. Oh well. Good idea, bad manufacturing.

This item I received did not have instructions in box so I really don’t know how to use it as well as it is very heavy and tilts the camera to a direction when trying to use I like that it is remote control but like I said I am sure it has speed controls but I don’t have instructions on how to use it

I looked at its circuit board and it didn't look very complicated, but it was well designed. I like its completely quiet work, and it's easy to release my hands and control the camera's uniform rotation.

The media could not be loaded.  Great value for the price, wish the motor was a bit more sturdy as there is a slight amount of play with every little touch. Its annoying, but if you're using this for hyperlapse, it doesn't make a difference in footage other than in high wind. And with minimal post work, unnoticeable to me.

Habe nach langem hin und her entschieden, dieses Teil zu kaufen, zumal ich es „gebraucht, wie neu“ zu wesentlich günstigerem Preis für fast fie Hälfte erwerben konnte.... soweit so gut....Trotz anständiger Verpackung mit Original Neewer Folie fehlte leider die Distanzschraube um es an einem Stativ zu befestigen...., naja zwar nur ein kleiner aber doch wesentlicher Fehler, denn ich habe dieses doch recht solideKamerautensil ja deswegen erworben um es auf dem Stativ zu nutzen (beim manuellem Drehen der Kamera ist es kaum möglich eine feste sichere Bewegung zu erreichen..Auch der Wechsel des Statives bringt hier kaum etwas und wenn dann sind diese dann wieder viel zu teuer und schwer...Mit diesem elektronischen Gerät ist es nun möglich einfach Panoramaaufnahmen zu machen...Leider ist die Beschreibung recht allgemein gehalten und in englisch oder chinesischer Schrift..., deutsch fehlt ganz, auch ist hier manches sehr wiedersprüchlich..., warum bewegt sich der Drehteller nach links, wenn ich den rechten Taster bewege und umgekehrt...??Auch die Blutoothfunktion bringt hier nichts...??Die Fernbedienung zum Auslösen klappt bei mir Canon nicht...Nun zu diesem Preis sicherlich ein Schnäppchen, aber dennoch nicht ganz ausgereift...Später werde ich nochmal weitere Berwertungen mit Bildern einfließen lassen.... habe nun schon mehrmals dieses bei meinen Fototouren genutzt und kann bis jetzt sagen, dass es im großen und ganzen funktioniert.Durch ein zusätzlich bestelltes Paket an diversen Schrauben ect. ist es mir jetzt möglich diesen Stativkopf zu nutzen.Die Bedienung ist recht einfach,trotz teilweiser unverständlicher Darstellung.Allerdings denke ich, dass es mehr für Amateur als Berufsfotografen geeignet ist, da es schwerere Objektiv/Kamera Konstellationen sicherlich nicht gebaut worden ist.Die Elektronik/Mechanik könnte hierbei versagen.Ansonsten ist es für meine Zwecke ausreichend und ich kann mit meiner DSLR und auch einem längerem Objektiv nun statt dauern manuell nachjustieren zu müssen Sternenfotos und Panoramafotos u.a. recht leicht mittels der mitgelieferten FB machen.Grundsätzlich somit empfehlenswert...

...trotz einer langsamen Drehbewegung sind bei "rechts" Drehungen Schrittmotor-steps bei 4k Video feststellbar, die nicht zu akzeptieren sind! Bei "links" - Drehungen ist dieser Mangel nicht feststellbar. Insgesamt vermisse ich die Winkelvorgabe, wie Soligor dies vor Jahrzehnten verwirklicht hatte, mit 30 Grad, 60 Grad und 90 Grad und anschließender Umkehr der Richtung. Eine Hilfe für "Einzelkämpfer" - eine Kamera hält z.B. stundenlang einen 60 Grad - Winkel im Blick und zeichnet auf. - Beim Neewer Panorama Stativkopf mit Variabler Geschwindigkeit und Drehrichtung hingegen, läuft auch die "schnellste" Einstellung, nicht schnell genug, um als "Schwenk" empfunden zu werden..! - 360 Grad in 15 Minuten ist die schnellste Einstellung, allerdings ohne festsetzbaren Winkel zur automatischen Richtungsumkehr, wobei man aktiv einschreiten muss um einen Winkel in umgekehrter Richtung aufgezeichnet werden soll. Es ist nicht praxisgerecht, 360 Grad - Schwenks haben eigentlich keinen Sinn, hier nur um die schnellste Drehgeschwindigkeit zu erzielen, die immer noch zu langsam ist!

Dommage que l'on ne puisse remettre à zéro le plateau tournant gradué. Sinon fabrication sérieuse. Mes hybrides sont à l'aise dessus.
