They stay on for six hours +. Works like a regular bulb in a single socket fixture or lamp. Will not work like a regular bulb in a fixture with multiple lighting. (They stay on when you turn the switch off). Light is equivalent to a 40 watt bulb. They do not get hot or even warm. Cool to the touch.

Like having it where I usually sit so when the power goes off I don't need to change anything to sit and read. I have them all over my house.

Bought these for my parents to use at their beach home, we already have some in our house and love them. It's so simple, if the power goes out you just turn them on and you have light for hours in the house without having to kick on a backup generator. Much safer than candles or an oil lamp and much easier to use. They're only 40 watts, so they aren't as bright as the lights you probably normally use but in an emergency you sure do appreciate having your house lit up for free!

I purchased this item to use in my vintage trailer. I charged the bulb as instructed. When I put the bulb into the cap switch with hook and nothing. Tried the second cap switch and again nothing. They don’t work outside of being a regular bulb. Manufacturer number disconnected. Amazon also did not help me with this. Very frustrating!! Don’t buy. If I could leave zero stars I would.

They put off a odd blue-tinted color they work well enough but are kinda big so they didn't work great for our home probably better for camping

Bulbs will light up when House hold power is lost....Tried it my self...I recommend this product 100%
