Good ramps - awful straps.
These Aluminum Lawnmower ATV Loading Ramps arrived two days ago, but I didn't have the opportunity to use them until today. This initial use was to load a 264 pound snowblower onto my son's pickup truck. I first walked up each ramp to get a feel for their stability. I was a bit suspicious because of the slight bend in each ramp under my 190 pounds. But I had enough confidence to position each ramp for the width of the snowblower tires. The ramps were secured with the supplied straps and the snowblower was started. The snowblower "walked" up the ramps with no problem of any nature. This was done with the machine in a low - slow - gear. Other reviews have mentioned much heavier objects on the ramps. I will trust that these Loading Ramps are capable of bearing more weight, but I can only attest to the 264 pounds of my own machine. After reading the negative comments about the supplied straps, I went to my local ACE hardware store and purchased a more substantial set of straps. I'm glad I did this because the supplied straps did, indeed, begin to fray - almost immediately - when pulled taught and the "teeth" of the clip were let down to secure them in place. I would have paid an extra $10-15 more to have a quality set of straps included in the order. I appreciate the fact that the ramps fold in half and can be slipped in to the bed of the pickup for use in offloading. My next task for the ramps will be moving a 500+ pound gun safe to another relatives house in a distant town. I can see that the ramps will be capable of being positioned to allow a hand truck to travel into the bed of the pickup. The specs for these ramps mention that they are capable of handling a total of 1,500 pounds. I'm not ready for anything that heavy yet - I need more confidence because they seem so light. I'm pleased with this product so far, but would suggest you purchase a good set of straps before yours arrive - should you choose to purchase the ramps for yourself. The shipment did arrive two days before the projected delivery date.

Light but heavy duty
Ramps work great. They are light weight but are very sturdy. I load a 450 foreman with ease in a f250 truck. Very easy to fold and put away.

Decent for this price.
Bought these to load my Raptor 700 in the truck. They are not bad for the price. Welds look decent, they fold up and are pretty lite weight. Time will tell on how long they last.

Haven't seen any better folding ramps at any price
MUCH higher quality than I expected for the price. At little over $100 shipped, I was expecting functional but low end import quality. Was shocked when I unpackaged them and found perfect fit and finish, high grade hardware, and smooth, solid welds. With a 450lb quad and my 185lbs on them, they don't even flex that I can tell. The rung design gives awesome traction, no worries about sliding off the sides - of course, I've only used them on fairly level ground. Only complaint I have, and it's a very minor one, is the straps don't have hooks on both ends, so you have to tie them to the ramp. With the quality of the ramp and price point, it's a very insignificant issue that wouldn't effect my purchasing decision. Rigged a couple of small straps to set the distance between the ramps, makes it even easier to set up.

Not so great for riding mowers.. But great quality ramps
I purchased these with the intention of being able to load my riding mower onto my truck which is a 2014 GMC Sierra SLT. It's a factory loaded top of the line truck. The only alterations to the truck have been a spray in bed liner and a roll n lock. My point being is the height of the bed is standard. I have a Poulan riding mower, with a 42" cut. Which I purchased right here on Amazon as well. The Aluminum Lawnmower / ATV ramps are exactly as described, well made and lightweight. They came well packaged and in a box that one man can easily handle. The tie down straps make it easy strapping the ramps to the truck. The problem being at 7.5 feet , the ramp is too steep for the mower to clear the ramp. The undercarriage of the mower simply can't be raised high enough at any angle once you get near the top of the ramp it gets hung up. I've backed my truck down into as low a grade as possible, and taking a running start, I still have the same problem. I've raised the end of the ramp that touches the ground with boards, and still, so far, no luck. If not for the cutting carriage underneath, the mower would ride right up the ramp. Unfortunately there is no way to raise it any higher. For ATV's, bike's, anything like that, this is great. For riding mowers, not so easy.. My tailgate lowered is 35 inches from the ground. I really hate writing a negative review for any item, especially one like this. And I don't really mean for this to be negative, just precautionary. I looked at other reviews and even some of the videos before I bought this. I bought this so I could take my mower over and cut my elderly parents grass. Crap, I'm 60. But this simply won't do the trick for me. So, do your homework. If anyone at all that reads this and needs any more specific measurements about the height of the undercarriage of the mower or anything else, just post a comment and I'll answer any question I can. Again, I do want to emphasize this is a good quality set of ramps. It just doesn't handle lawn mowers very well. It will hold the weight with NO problem. They are strong and lightweight.

Work great, light weight and strong
These work great for my ATV. I see a few complaints about the straps but I haven't had an issue yet. I do make sure there were no twists in the straps and again never have had an issue. I will say, the incline is a bit steeper than I would have thought with my half ton truck. If I had a lift kit I would have returned for a longer set. I haven't loaded my Deere yet but I am very confident I will have to remove the deck to load it. I cannot see the deck clearing that pitch. All in all, a great product and I am very pleased with how light they are but yet handle my 4x4 ATV very easily
