Great for dysphasia
My mom-in-law has some swallowing problems. Although takes getting used to, and you definitely need to convince yourself it is what you must do to keep liquid out of your lungs. Instructions are a good guideline, but definitely takes some practice. Toughest thing is waiting for it to finish thickening what you put in. We have a tendency of not waiting and putting in more powder .... and end up with it too thick... yukThis bulk purchase was good. Keeps the cost down, and we know we are going to use it up.It even works in her coffee.No fun using it, but we blame the medical condition, not the treatment.

Best thickener yet!
Im so happy that i found this product after i spent almost two years paying for simply thick which is super expensive. I have three year old twins with dysphagia and i wont use anything else again. I love that its in a can that can travel with us easy for when we are out. And one order can last my two girls months instead of only a couple of weeks. Also... this price is unbeatable!!

Excellent product, does not harden your drink, so you can take your time drinking or eating your food/drink over a period of time.I found this, Resource Thicken up, is the best thickener on the market, because all other brands thicken up & harden too fast!

This is the best product I have tried for thickening my beverages. I have been on tube feeding for 7 years and it helps to have a product that can allow me to have a little something to drink. Additionally, the order always arrives quickly. It seems I place the order and it arrives. Thank you!

Works Well, But Isn't "Instant", Or Flavorless
While less unpleasant than Thick-It, this food thickener still has a distinctly "cardboard"-y flavor. It does its job well, but a few tips:1. Whisk into your liquid RAPIDLY. ThickenUp *will* clump, otherwise.2. If mixing this into a warm liquid, take care to keep it on the "thin" side. It thickens as the liquid cools.3. Even if your liquid isn't warm, ThickenUp is not "instant" and will continue to thicken your drink over time.
