I wanted a way to keep my front windows open in my RV to allow a draft without worrying that my cat would get out. These are excellent they fit easily into the window and quite snug. I can’t say for a dog because I don’t have one, but they do seem sturdy.

The Window Pet Gate was durable as advertised and is a useful contraption. I am 100% satisfied with this product.

I love theses they r awesome for spring and summer great air flow furbabies can breath fresh air without head hanging out window (to dangerous for tiny Yorkies.) But I just love these things 😍 super safe an awesome great air flow an doesn't mess with the drivers view. (Like the shade screen I pull over ur window/door, super dangerous)

These things are so cool. They are sturdy, they are nice and tall. Easy to install. Folds up nicely. BUT....bear in mind, if your windows are *curved* when rolled down, the curved part will NOT be covered. This is obvious to me now, but when I bought them I did not associate that. Other than that, they are so great.

First off, I bought these for car camping, not for pets. I just want more ventilation while sleeping in my car. As you can see from my pictures, they fit great. I have them installed on my 2017 RAV4 FRONT windows. I've seen other reviews saying you can't get them on front windows, but as you can see from the pictures, I did. Yes, you have to work at it, but the more you use it the easier it gets. Unless you had a very tiny hand you can't get through the small gap. Maybe they won't work for other cars, but they fit a RAV4. My main concern when camping is the 2-legged creatures, and these give me a bit more protection. Although sturdy, you could rip them out of the window if you really want to. But there's no way you can get it removed before I will be awake and introducing you to my little friend. And adding the bug screen means no mosquitoes or other unwanted guests. Throw in a USB rechargeable fan for more air circulation, and it's just like sleeping at home.

If you have big dogs, this will not let you roll the window down any further than you already can before there's a risk they could jump through.It would help prevent passersby from trying to reach in and pet your dog so it does still have some use that way. I had purchased it hoping to be able to unroll my windows further.For little dogs, it would let you unroll the window a few inches more and be confident you wouldn't have an escapee.
