Injen Technology SP1230WB Short Ram Intake System

The only reason I knocked a star off is because 2/3 of the mounting brackets on the air box where bent due to lack of padding on the box. It was an easy fix and just bent the brackets back but hopefully they add some better padding so brackets don’t arrive bent or worse. Anyways this thing rocks. Stock tune you won’t notice much of a gain so if you’re buying for HP boost I’d recommend just getting a drop in performance filter. However the noise this thing makes is SICK. Nice raspy intake with no whistle like I’ve experienced on other intakes I’ve owned in different cars. 10/10 would buy again.Update, in cold weather this little mod really helps the 86 come to life. In the hot weather the aluminum build actually gets kinda hot so you definitely won’t feel any power gains at all (on a stock tune).

I can't imagine a CAI as an impulse buy so if you're looking at this I'd guess you're really looking at narrowing down your decision. Personally, I'm very happy with the Injen CAI and would highly recommend it. Installation is a breeze (no pun intended) and fit and fitment is spot on. CARB compliant was a key deciding factor for me as well and this is one of the few that is.

I own a 2016 (still a Scion)FR-S and this part is listed for up to 2 years prior to mine. But contrary to that, the part fit perfectly and install was better than expected on my ride as the engine had no changes done to it that would prevent this part from working right. The seller is also very good as they contacted me via email prior to shipping and wanted to ensure my decision was correct before completing my purchase. Overall this is one of my more better purchasing experiences so far. Cheers!

Got the package in one day! Spent no more than an hour on removal of OEM and install of new product. Bolts right on. Will update on performance soon. 5/27/19

Very good construction with very durable parts, the tuned filter is much more advanced than others I have installed as well. Was easy to install and is very sturdy once completed. Without a tune it makes the car only a slight bit faster but the noise that comes with it is worth it alone. Pair it with a full exhaust and a tune and you'll fall in love with the brz (if you haven't already).

All I can say is wow, as soon as I turned the BRZ on and the sound was very good, rumbling sound I was looking for.Item arrived earlier then dated. No issues at all.thanks!

I love this CAI.The sound is more noticeable than the stock air box, and it just feels amazing once you get the engine warmed up.

I have the crinkle black version and it looks great. Almost has a stock look to it to the undiscerning eye. The only thing giving it away is the bright red on the side of the intake tube. Very straight forward install, just be careful of the lower screw on the filter housing, as it could fall and get caught on top of one of the plastic skid plates. Ask me how I know. Only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the fit of the intake tube to the filter housing, there isn't any. There is a gap all the way around the intake tube and the rubber grommet you put in the housing. Maybe that is by design to prevent a possible ground path of the maf sensor, so it could be by design. That is my only gripe about the intake system.

came with multiple scratches right on the lid anywhere else would've been fine but these are scratches right on the lid pretty much the only part you see
