NLT Life Application Study Bible

Have ordered these multiple times. The only Bible my church likes to use

Really good learning bible. Love the explanations given for each passage

First, I need to say that if you are looking to learn the Bible, study the Bible, I needed to stay away from KJV bc I’ve always found it way too dry and difficult to follow and understand. This version and a few others out there, but ESPECIALLY THIS ONE, COMES ALIVE!!! I ordered this Bible bc my son showed me his more recent purchase of the same Bible, which was more “fancy,” with a “leather-like,” two-toned” soft cover (sort of brown and black looking), with the two-ribbon book markers. The one I purchased is hard-covered, and when you take off the paper sleeve, the the cover has a pretty tree embossed on the cover! This will be my Fourth Bible, and I fell in love with my son’s because of the CONTENTS AND INSPIRATION I FELT the VERY MINUTE I PICKED IT UP AND BEGAN TO READ THE INTRODUCTION TO THE BOOK OF PSALMS AND THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW… just to check it out!!! I felt a love, a desire to learn, and I was drawn in immediately! As an aside, I ordered another Bible from Amazon, which is also excellent, “produced” and published by someone who is a well-known Pastor in the Reformed Christian Community. My son now has that Bible, and we are going to give his copy of the Life Application Study Bible to my brother, his Uncle, as a gift bc it’s so beautiful!!!! My brother is currently in a rehab with serious health issues but can read and understand what he is reading, Praise God!!!! Anyway, LOVE these Bibles!!! The King James have always been dry, and hard to read - these are completely beautiful and INSPIRING STUDY BIBLES!!!

I really like this study Bible! It is so much information (sometimes overwhelming) but very helpful in understanding some of the history and meaning behind so many things that are foreign to us today.

I got this for someone who is new in their faith to encourage them to read the Word. I know the Bible is sometimes hard to interpret on your own- especially if you don’t know how. I like how this Bible has all the information someone might need about context and how the text applies to our lives today on the same pages it’s talking about. The Bible itself is big- he said it was like a textbook! I got the hardcover, so I hope it will stay nice as he reads it. I’m considering getting one for myself too!

Let me first start off by saying I have been searching for a new Bible that compares to my she reads truth, this one has been taking me deeper into the word of God- I’ve loved it- one month in I have filled it with notes !!It really facilitates a deeper relationship with the Lord !

This is a study bible that goes into great detail. I suggest everybody get one if they want to truly understand the Bible

The Bible is a fascinating book but hard to understand. This Bible offers explanations, maps, a concordance and more. I have come to rely on it and continue to give it to friends and family.
