Nice sturdy canvas

I just realized after having actually painted on them that the large package that I ordered has wrong description of sizing. It says 2 of each: 11x14, 16x20, 18x24, 24x36, but what you get is two of this: 12x12, 14x18, 18x24, 24x36. The quality is not great, but the price is fine, so I kept them and my work turned out okay. I mean in the end there isn't that much you can expect of canvases that are of this caliber. I always gesso two or three times over anything that is advertised as gessoed though. These were particularly coarse too as they came.

This is an excellent deal on canvases. They are are good quality and the varied sizes make it easy to paint whatever you want!

I was very surprised at how sturdy these canvases are. The word that is used is actually seems like it is the wood of molding that you would put on your door frame. This makes it very sturdy the only issue is it feels like there’s a decorative molding under the canvas so it doesn’t lay flat but that can be a good thing. I love them overall and they’re very high-quality canvas. They do not have a very deep inside on the back so keep that in mind for your project

Ordered these Wednesday, they came in on Friday. I have already painted on one of the smallest ones. I am not a professional, but I have painted a lot of canvases and thought this compared just fine to the others. They were all wrapped individually in plastic, so I had no issues with them sticking together like other people have complained of in their reviews. They were packaged so that the opening you would cut with a box cutter to open was along the sides of the canvases, not the front where it could cut a slit in a canvas if you went to deep with the blade. I still think it could cut the side of a canvas though, so be careful when opening. I am happy with the purchase and will be buying again I am sure.
