We had two cushions that are in constant use in the lounge as back supports for my parents. They were both filled with hollow fibre (the cushions, not my parents!), which doesn’t offer the support needed. Although duck feather and down can be seen to be cruel, most sources are ethical. I would have liked to have seen a statement to this fact.As far as comfort is concerned, these cushions are far superior to fibre. They take your shape while still offering the support you need. The covers are made of cotton and I haven’t seen any feathers trying to escape. There will probably be some over time but that is one of the downsides of having feather cushions.Overall, decently made feather and down cushion inserts. Hope that helps.

Great cushions. Ordered a 55cmx55cm size to fit 50cmx50cm cushion covers and the result is I have 2 comfortable & plumper cushions!! The feathers from the cushion pads don't smell. I saw comments saying they do. The one i received, dont. Happy with my purchase.

These are great: plump and comfortable. I spent a bit more than the very cheapest, and am glad I did because these cushions are well-made. Other reviewers have complained about a terrible odour, but mine smell entirely neutral. I bought 20-inch cushions for 18-inch covers, which gives just the right amount of fullness.

I bought these prior to Christmas as an insert for some novelty cushion covers from another craft based website.Firstly, the price I paid was ridiculous compared to what they are now - obviously supply and demand for Christmas presents - which isn’t great - I paid £18 for 2, whereas now they are roughly £8, with an RRP of £8.99. Would I pay the £18 again? Probably not - but I’d say they were worth more than the £8 they are now.They arrived in vac packed bags and I initially thought there is no way they are going to fill the cushion covers and be soft and fluffy - however a little bit of plumping and they were huge! So much so, I had to squeeze all the air out of them and then put them into the cushion covers and re-plump them!Some reviews have mentioned that there was an awful smell when they initially opened their pillows, or an ongoing smell - however I’ve not noticed that at all through the life of the cushions - the smell of mine is non existent.Other reviews have mentioned that feathers escape from the cushion and are relatively sharp. We’ve had these for nearly 2 months and we’ve not had a single feather escape the cushion - not saying it won’t happen as most feather cushions and pillows we have this has happened with - but I think it’s par for the course with feather filled pillows - and anyway, it’s quite fun pulling them out if I’m being honest! :)Our cushions are well shaped (if maybe a little too well filled perhaps), and plump and firm, but not too hard.I could comfortably use them as a pillow to sleep on, if I get kicked out of bed and onto the sofa. Luckily I’ve not had to test this theory, but I’m sure they will be more than up to the job over the course of a nights sleep if it were to happen!Overall, I myself paid a little too much for mine, but I was desperate to finish a Christmas present. At a price close to their RRP of £8.99, these are a bargain and really are value for money.As a final note, they are 95% duck feather & 5% duck down in case you wanted to know what the filling was.

They arrived in good time and vacuum packed. Filled with duck feathers but could probably do with a few more as once puffed up they are still a little flat. I think they are a little expensive for what they are and recently purchased two others that cost almost half of what these cost and are just as good quality. Would suggest you shop around can find them much cheaper

The feathers come through the fabric into your cloths and HURT they are so sharp and I'm continually finding them in my cloths or painful on my body. I would not buy this again.
