Designed for specific type travellers
This is designed for a specific client and will probably work well for them. I am not that person. Rather than solve a problem it created one. I was looking to pare down and organize, what I ended up with was another piece of carry-on, made heavy because of electronics, and it's overall size is much larger than the contents it carries. I 'loaded' it up at home and found it would not work therefore did not take it on the plane. Good thing. Turns out I had bulkhead seats ergo no lap tray in from of me, therefore this item's main feature would have been totally unusable had I packed it and brought it along. To be fair, I generally do not do well with pockets that are sized and labeled for a specific use for me. Examples: My phone didn't fit 'Device' pocket, I don't own a 'Genius' Charger, and I really don't need a designated pocket for 2 pens, nor business cards, and I prefer to carry my passport in my wallet. And the magazine area does not hold a newspaper.Look at this carefully! I was only able to use it to maybe 30% of it's capabilities, you may be the person that this is perfect for!

it's does fasten to the seat back easily and it hold all the stuff that you might ...
This works as it's intended though it doesn't really hold enough to be the only other carry on item. It's just too small for that. I have to put it into a larger laptop bag and take it out when I get to my seat. It's fairly narrow, so it won't fit glasses inside a case. Other than that though, it's does fasten to the seat back easily and it hold all the stuff that you might need on a flight quickly. One thing to note though, if you're sitting in an aisle seat, it's tough for the people sitting inside the row to get out with the bag strapped in. Also, I got the grey color, but I wouldn't recommend that color. It's not really grey, but more of a putty brown. It's a really unattractive color.

High Altitude bag not up to the Genius line's usual high standards for utility and price.
Way too small. No where enough room in the limited compartments. But in all fairness, the product description did say this. I bought several Kopack expandable large capacity Laptop Briefcase Expandable Bags as gifts after I tried mine out. I liked the tough fabric much better and it costs considerably less than the Genius High Altitude flight bag.......even though I like the Genius line of goods just the same. This product just doesn't cut the mustard.

It’s almost perfect ...
My review is highly positive, however I did give the flight bag only 4 stars because I do have a few slightly negative, more constructive I hope, comments to make. I am currently traveling a fair amount, I’ve always found it a bit messy trying to get things from my large rolling computer bag (Bose headphones, book, iPad, etc.). If you take too long, turn around and the overhead is full. Also, before landing it’s not so easy to get your bag down to return your stuff. I bought this, not so much for the abiliy to wrap it the seat table tray, but more to use to organize just the stuff I want at my seat during a flight.Unfortunately, I own a 12.9” iPad Pro with the Apple keyboard case. If Genius would have made the bag just 1/2” larger, the 12.9” iPad would have fit perfectly. As it is, the bag is too small.I managed to force my iPad to fit, I probably should not have done it, but I got it in the bag. I’m hoping it will stretch a little, but looking at the material it’s made from, I doubt that will happen. Just 1/2” more and it would fit perfect! I have travelled for years with a Kensington rolling computer bag, I found I could slide the Genius handle loop over the rolling bag handle and the little guy rides there perfectly. When I get the aircraft, I slide it off, drop it on my seat and put my rolling bag in the overhead ... easy peasy. I prefer a window seat and I’ve found the bag with my iPad, Bose headphones (less their case), a couple magazines, my cell and a few other items would slide down right between the seat and aircraft wall, like a glove. So, to the folks at Genius ... it’s a great product, I think it’s perfect for my use, but just a hair too small to hold the 12.9” iPad Pro; very happy with your product, but just a bit disappointed too!

It is really handy, but it is just not ...
It is really handy, but it is just not worth the price. Also, it's called the genius pack, so was it necessary to label the pockets? A genius ought to be able to figure out what goes where.

Worked Out Perfectly~
I had originally thought I would not use this until next spring when we are going to fly cross country. However, we had a last minute shorter, 1 12/ hour, flight over the weekend. I always have a duffle type carry-on that I put my jacket and purse in. When I get to my seat I take my purse out and put it under the seat in front of me. Nuisance to lean down and kick the purse towards me and use my foot to pick up the purse by the handle! I packed it up with what I normally put in my purse for traveling and the snacks, etc. that I would maybe need during flight. I waited until we were in the air and attached the bag (I chose red!) to the tray. Worked great! Everything I needed or wanted to grab during the flight was easily accessible! Loved it!Some reviews thought it was made poorly, not mine. Seams are sewed well, seems durable. Also, some reviews chided the designers for labeling the pockets! Really? You can put what ever you want in what ever pocket you want! I used the pocket labeled Business Cards for my pack of Kleenex! I did not need my passport this trip so the pocket labeled Passport was used for my charging cords and pack of Tic Tacs! It was perfect and very useful. When it was time to prepare for landing I unhooked it and put it under the seat in front of me. With the shoulder strap it made it perfect to use as my purse at our destination. When I got off the plane I put it in my carry on and so only had one thing to think about! I liked this a lot and plan on using it on all my flight travel.

Great for long flights.
It is a little smaller than I expected, but perfect for flying. The design is compact, and the straps hold the bag to tray tables with ease. Not as useful for short flights, but for long-hauls (especially international), it is perfect. Especially useful if no one is sitting next to you, as I'm not sure how to use it along with the tray table for food/drinks.
