Upcycling Crafts: A compilation of the Upcycling Books With 197 Crafts!

Do not buy - I bought 2 of her titles and all I want is my money back. These books are literally just images taken from Pinterest with poorly guessed steps. Half of the instructions don't even match the picture. Don't waste your time on these.

I've glanced at the reviews for this author's other books and I was a bit wary of purchasing this one. There are a lot of complaints about this author not including very many pictures in her books, no patterns for sewing books and a lot of self-promotion and calls to action of "go to my website!" to get the real instructions and more pictures. Some of my worst fears were confirmed with this book, because while this is a great amount of upcycling ideas for the money (I got this book for around 11 or so dollars), the pictures are all in black and white, some are very bad quality (blurry, low quality images as though stolen from a web page) and you can definitely tell that the physical book's formatting was just a copy+paste job from a digital version.It's pretty disorganized in this way, not easy on the eyes when it comes to reading. The "go to my website!" type self promotion is also grading. When I'm buying a book, I don't want a bunch of blog posts sloppily formatted into a book template...The disorganized and disorienting nature of the book aside, it does have some good ideas when it comes to upcycling which I never would've thought of! That's why I bought it; though that makes it even more of a shame that the images aren't in color and that there aren't more images in general. There are no visual step-by-step instructions either, which will put visual learners at a disadvantage. In terms of instruction clarity, I haven't noticed anything too unclearly worded, but I've also yet to try to create anything from this book (and will update my review should I do so).Overall: this is more of a blog printed on paper, which is disappointing for physical book collectors. It's got good ideas, but the book falls flat and I'm very conflicted as to whether I want to keep the item or not.

Be creative. Purchase these books and start making your own novel clothes. You can save money and you will have fun.

Although the first book suggested a wooden frame of a chair for this project, I tried using a steel one. I gathered my old ties and started this project. With the simple instructions from this book, I am sure that I can turn these salvaged materials into an exquisite piece of furniture. What a wonderful and creative idea! I have my mind fixed on other upcycling crafts found in this book like the handle holder, bed for your doggy and wall decor with old scarf. These simple crafts have challenged my creativity and they meet my household needs. The other books in this set also contain a lot of upcycling crafts idea and I am very positive that one can choose a project that would suit his needs. This is a great compilation of upcycling crafts books.

Wow! This book is very helpful for moms like me.I love reading this book it feels like I'm a fashion designer and I've wanted to upcycle my old clothes.I was hooked up on the process on how to upcycle the pants.One of my favorite is the cat printed jeans It was hard finding one in the clothing shop but I'm very happy that I can do one,I will just follow few of the steps in this book so I can perfectly have a Cat Printed Jeans and this book arrived to me in a perfect timing because I'am thinking what to wear this coming Halloween party and finally I would love to wear the Cat Printed Jeans.I love to try more of the Upcycling crafts in this book so I can recycle all our old clothes.Thanks to Kitty Moore,this book is really helpful to me.I would love to highly recommend this book to all my friends.

There's so many DIY ideas to choose from, great ideas to recycle things you don't need anymore. Each instructions are no brainier, very easy to follow and was well written but you need a good imagination to visualize each item. There's no image of each project in here, and if you want to see the available image, you'll have to go to this website and giveaway your email address, which in my case is the only turn off with this book.If the author of this book had been generous enough for us to view some lovely images, instead of links to her site. I'll give this one 5 stars.REVIEW REVISION [From 3 - 5 stars]: I did gave the email subscription a try and the site isn't so bad. Load of pretty stuff and "images" there.

This bookset is packed with amazing ideas to reuse the materials that are available at home. After recreating, they don't just look plain, they add decor where they are displayed. You can transform your house without wasting money on expensive decors items. An amazing bookset. The author has a very artistic mind which is reflected from the way the articles turn out to be from old materials. The language is easy to follow. Very concisely written.

If you are into reusing old stuff and upcycling then you will get plenty of ideas from this box set. Apparently the author has combined all their upcycling books into this one box set. You can decorate and update your home using most of what you already have but is not really useful. There are about 200 ideas in the bundle. I have done through more than half of them so far. They are not all brilliant but there are some ideas that are really practical and can be used to turn the old stuff into something new and exciting. It does need a little bit of money though to decorate the old things and make them look pretty. So its not completely going to be cash free to decorate your house using upcycling. Be prepared to spend some money as well.

the ideas are there But it is a very badly produced book It looks like a photocopy!!!Everything is in badly printed and very grey photos It is difficult to see the photos properly because it is so badly done The lettering is fine But the photos showing what it is you are supposed to be doing are absloutely dreadful!!

A great idea, my only complaint would be with the links, they should have just put photographs of the crafts, as the links don't work at all, but even without the pictures, the directions are short, sweet and straight to the point. They are direct, helpful and insightful, without being too complicated or long winded. It is certainly a handy way to utilize unwanted old clothing and make them into brand new, fashionable clothes and to be reinvented to become a part of the home decor.

The pictures in this book are small and monochrome. This was disappointing. Apart from the front cover, the book looks home made.Some of the ideas are good but many are out of date.

I think kindles are awesome! Think of a book you want to look at, 5 minutes later you're reading it!This is an interesting set of books and I enjoyed flicking through - it's definitely staying on my kindle for reference later,
