This is my second purchase of the product. It lasts a long time is very durable and works well to smooth rough foot skin.

My wife and I love this file. My wife had reptile feet. Her calluses were so bad and thick and cracked. One time we had to go to a foot doctor and have her calluses removed with a scalpel. She has suffered with this her whole life; its terrible.Using advice from the web, I soaked her feet in water and baking soda for 30 minutes each day for a week and then worked on her calluses with a pumice stone. That helped some. Then I was researching foot files and I found the Diane European Foot File had good reviews so I bought it. With 2 days of treatment, I was able to do way more with her feet than soaking and a pumice stone.Because of this file, my wife's feet look normal again. The file is huge...we joked that it could be used to give a good spanking. The wood is thick and durable and provides a nice grip. The "sandpaper" is sturdy and glued on very well. Rinsing it off was not a problem. It comes with 2 different grits...a red one for really grinding that callus off and a black one for smoothing.I am very happy with this purchase. It was extremely affordable for such a high quality tool that works very well. If you have nasty calluses like my wife, I recommend you get this file and use it a little every day. In no time, you'll have smooth feet again...and you won't need to go to the foot doctor.My wife now tells me she wants to get a pedicure, have fancy toes, and wear backless shoes. Now she can...

It’s a great tool for feet care, the lighter side sandpaper was coming off the wood, when I opened the package. I put more glue and it works fine.

Got this as a replacement for a plastic one that lasted through years of gentle use, and then, one day...crack! <sigh> However, this one is just BEAUTIFUL, and worth every penny. The wood is light and strong, and about 5-6mm thick; I can't imagine it breaking under normal or even hard use. It feels really sturdy and comfortable in your hand. The double-sided version has two colors and grades of sandpaper; the red is a little more abrasive than the black. To be honest, the difference is subtle, but they are both remarkably effective, and clean easily and well after use.There are some other ones out there, shiny metal things that look like kitchen implements, intended to frighten wedges of cheese, no doubt. While this is definitely NOT one of those ultra-aggressive models, it will make short work of anything one might consider unsightly or uncomfortable.It can tend to "stutter" a little, depending on the angle you need to use, but tightening the skin of the heel by pressing a finger or thumb firmly up from the bottom of your heel pad towards your ankle will alleviate it. This is a minor point. Once you use this thing, you may wonder, as I did, what took me so long to invest a little more in something this good. Honestly doubt I'll ever need another one...it's just that well-made.Run, don't walk. This is the one. You found it. :)

This is a great and easy to use tool. My first one last more than a decade! I use it both wet and dry on my feet. I've even used it on my my hands after a day of outside labor on the farm (though I use the less rough side and water). It is perfect to take care of those cuticles that just need a bit of attention or they'll turn into a hang nail.

The foot file is decent for home use in between professional pedicures. The only issue is if it gets wet too much the paper starts detaching from the wood.

This is an excellent salon style product and my wife loves it it is what she wanted and is very pleased

Easy to hold on to and use, this file does the job then washes off easily with soap on an old toothbrush and warm water. Air dry and use again when needed. I highly recommend this and it is all I need . You can gently use it on your hands and followup with moisturizer. I bought 2 of these as gifts . Other files have worn out on me but I have been using this one for a few months and it is still like new.Excellent price for this superior quality.

Solid and well-designed paddle, very pleasant to use. My feet are finally super silky soft after only two uses, I can hardly believe it. Price is right too. Was skeptical before ordering, but my happy feet now highly recommend this file!(P.S. I use it on wet feet, after they have soaked for a few minutes. Works best for me.)
