Pregnant first cycle (with borderline PCOS)
I found so much comfort in these reviews and really relied on them for information from woman who have been in my shoes.. so I just had to write one of my own! These little strips changed my fertility world. I knew I didn’t want to mess around when it came to trying for a baby. So I bought these strips and tested them out the month before my husband and I had planned to try for a baby (just to make sure I knew what I was doing and looking for). I taped the strips into a notebook like many of the other reviewers, and it worked great. I never waited for the urine to be room temperature and still got accurate results. I bought plastic cups and dipped the stick into the urine for about 10 seconds, or until the dye had risen about 3/4 of the way up. I got best results after making sure my bladder was full, and testing in the afternoon. The nice thing about these strips rather than the digital “yes or no” ones is the fact that you can see an increase in your lh hormone a day or two before the peak positive test. This allows you to try for a baby earlier, since the 5 days before a peak test are fertile times as well! So my journey was a bit rocky. After getting off birth control, my cycles were pretty normal and then all of a sudden they weren’t. Each one was longer than the next (up to 52 days one month), and I get worrisome since we had planned to try for a baby in the near future. I even had an appointment with my gynecologist who took blood work to test for PCOS and scheduled an ultrasound of my seemingly insufficient ovaries. He was convinced that I wasn’t ovulating, but I told him I had used these strips and gotten a positive result on CD38 (I know, super super late.. my body is a little slow apparently 😅🙄😂). He continued to tell me that doctors consider any cycle day past 35 to be anovulatory (meaning you don’t release an egg). So I sounded even crazier when I told him “well it’s a few days before my missed period so I took a pregnancy test (the ones from this kit), and got a faint second line indicating a positive result *picture attached (mind you I bought a $15 First Response Digital test that said negative the day before). He again shook this off and was doubtful! He didn’t even order a blood test to check and see if I really was pregnant. So I thought maybe I was seeing things or got a false positive. That night I took another test and the second line was darker *picture attached! The next morning I took another digital test and it confirmed with a YES +! So these little strips caught my “needle in a haystack ovulation” and caught my pregnancy before a First Response digital test!! I got a blood test that afternoon to confirm the pregnancy and went back again 48 hrs later to see if my hcg numbers were doubling as they should, and instead they tripled! It’s looking promising so far 😊 my first ultrasound is scheduled for mid January! These strips were amazing for me, and I got pregnant the first cycle, even though my periods are irregular and long! Because of my cycles, it’s so nice that these come in bulk. I ordered 100 ovu strips (and literally had to take one everyday with my crazy cycles) and 20 hcg. Fun facts that might help** I got my positive pregnancy test the first time I used the strips, which was 10 days after my peak test strip. Since I didn’t test earlier, I’m not sure if it would have caught it sooner. When I saw the lh hormone rising (the two lines were the same shade) we tried for a baby that night (CD37 on my chart picture). The next day, CD 38, was my actual peak (when the second line was darker than the control line) and we were not able to try that night! I was so upset, but that goes to show you that the days leading up to ovulation are just as important because we still got pregnant when trying the day before the peak surge. I suggest doing it both days of you can though. And maybe even the day after the peak surge. Lastly, when I began to notice my body’s ovulation symptoms, I started testing twice a day with the strips to make sure I didn’t miss any surge. I also tested multiple times a day as I noticed the second line growing darker.

Works Well If You Can Time It Right
We’ve ordered the 50 set, quantitative set, and the 100 set. We were 25 and 26 and started trying to have kids in 2021 November. I was on Larissa birth control pills for a couple of years consistently before and then I stopped so we could try. We started with the At Home LH Ovulation strips maybe a month or 2 after. I was consistent with it. Late April we found out we were pregnant but I had a miscarriage on 4 May 2022. After 3 rounds of IUI and 1 round of an ovadrel shot with timed intercourse, we eventually got discouraged. We were pretty devastated because my husband was checked and he was normal, I got checked (blood, tubes, etc.) and I was normal. We’re both VERY active with running and lifting, neither of us smoke or drink at all, no drugs, nothing. We were categorized by our fertility doctor as “Unexplained Infertility”. I stopped using these LH strips consistently, we even tried with no LH strips, everything became a chore, and we were frustrated. Fast forward to 2023 when we were already looking to adoption for hope while still staying off birth control to let anything happen if it was meant to be without stressing over it… we got pregnant. I restarted this At Home testing kit (the regular one, the quantitative one we only used it up in 2022 once) inconsistently in August and a bit more consistent in September (I would only miss a day or two in Sep). I believe our every other day of trying to conceive and doing it before my peak was really what did it because it was there when I would ovulate (if you know what I mean). Plus I’m very athletic, I run a lot and lift hard, and I haven’t done that consistently much in 2023. I ran a 15k on 4 Sep 2023 but not much after that. I think laying off exercising helped a lot too because it might’ve been too extreme for my body to handle that and building a baby even if I’ve been running and lifting for years. I also haven’t consistently been on prenatals when we finally got pregnant last month (we found out this month but of course it happened last month). I only took prenatals twice and it might’ve been after we already conceived. So nothing special this time, just timing with the help of At Home LH Ovulation testing! Hopefully this time this baby makes it past First Trimester and we finally have our first child!

If you read no other reviews, READ THIS! I now know I'm ovulating super late, would recommend (LH)
Wordy, but I hope this helps. Obviously using these *LH* strips TTC - so I wanted to take the guess work out of ovulation. Bottom line: would ABSOLUTELY recommend – they are cheap (test several times/day), more reliable than other more expensive tests, and will tell you more about your body -- whether you get preg. the first cycle or if you aren’t ovulating at all, you can use this “data” to speak with your doctor. Win-win. Here’s some context because ppl say they got pregnant on X cycle with no background info (which after reading review after review, I liked when I could relate to someone and felt hopeful from people in similar situations to myself). I used these LH TTC for my 2nd. My first son (born March ‘18) we weren’t trying, but after coming off BC for nearly 15 years I was preg 3 weeks later. So, I had no idea how “TTC” or OPK technically worked, and I wanted to see if I was “normal” / regular for our 2nd (spoiler: I am NOT!). After my son, I did not get my period for a total of 2 years (including pregnancy, then BF for almost a year) until finally June ‘19. I had my next 28 day later in July (yay, I thought I was “regular”) and started OPK testing August when we were TTC. The strips did NOT show me ovulating this first month using these, and got my period 32 days later. I was so worried something was wrong with me and maybe I wasn’t ovulating at all due to BF so long. So, The next cycle I said, I decided to start fresh again AND would also use the *clear blue digital as a backup in the am. Month 2 testing and I FINALLY got a surge, on DAY 24!!! By this time, I was sure I was not ovulating and something was wrong, BUT thanks to other reviews I kept on testing!!! And I got it way later than the “normal,” and ended up sadly getting my period day 36. Regardless, I now knew I ovulate late and am irregular. I had information to take to my doctor and this is taking some of the guesswork out of TTC. My doctor still recommends the every other day thing during my window until I hit my surge, but if it weren’t for these I wouldn’t know I was irregular. (Spoiler 2: CB are 2-3x the price, so they must work better, right?! WRONG. Don’t bother, these were easier, more reliable and less frustrating to use). Here are my tips (LH strips only): -MOST IMPORTANT: If possible, do a “test run” the month (s) before you start really “trying” for several reasons. 1. It took me a cycle to figure out. 2. It’s nice to get a general idea where you fall in the month ovulating. Testing with no idea whether you were early, normal or later (so annoying when I kept waiting to get my two lines) is stressful waiting every day to see if its your day(s). -Have FUN and don't be crazy (*me to myself*) -First month(s), it’s worth starting the day after your period ends IMO to cover all the bases or early ovulation -Time of day: Don’t use “FMU” first morning urine (I made this mistake the first 5 days). Try to do similar time everyday, from noon to early evening (according to box). Then 2x a day when it’s darker, and/or if you have no idea about your cycle so you don’t miss your surge if you are “rapid onset” (I did 11a and 5 or 6p when testing 2x a day) -Download premom app – it is helpful to upload the pictures of your sticks to later look back and reference -Try to use the same spot/lighting for photos for the app to compare (I got .32 and .55 reading off the SAME stick in dif lighting) -It says to try not to drink water 2 hours before you test and hold your pee for that duration so you don't dilute -Dixie cups are helpful to dip in -Your period phone app that tells you when you ovulate *IS NOT*, I repeat NOT correct. They are going off average data, not your personal body. So don’t freak out if you are early/late, and for sure do not take their word for it. (*according to Flo, only 10% of women ovulate on day 14!!!). -Their app will show you “high” once uploaded, but it says to keep testing. The day after I was high, my results got lighter, and therefore the app changed my “high” day to my “peak day” based off these results. Just a heeds up, that's normal. In sum, buy these! No BFP yet, but I will update. I still felt it was worth leaving this review in the meantime if others are considering purchasing. This month I am going to keep an eye on the strips to have an idea, but not going to drive myself crazy. Keep the fun in it and stress out. I stopped following the FB group because it made me too mental.

Easy to Use
These Easy@Home ovulation test strips are very easy to use, and I’ve been using them for several years now. I’ve been struggling with trying to get pregnant, and recently I have been diagnosed with PCOS, which makes it more difficult to get pregnant. With PCOS, I never know when I’m going to ovulate. However, these ovulation test strips are inexpensive, and so I can test my LH hormones multiple times a day without having to worry about spending too much money. Another great thing about these Easy@Home test strips is that they are compatible with the Premom app. The Premom app has many features such as period/cycle and symptom tracking, but my absolute favorite feature is that it can take photos of my Easy@Home ovulation test strips and assign a quantitative number in correlation to how dark the test line is to the control line. (With the ovulation test strips, you want a number higher than 1. A positive test would have the test line being darker than the control line, so a number less than 1.0 would not be a positive result.) Plus, I’m a visual person, so it’s awesome having this data transformed into a graph so I can see precisely which day my LH is surging so I know when I ovulate! I still haven’t become pregnant yet but I will continue using the Easy@Home ovulation strips and the compatible Premom app during my journey. I recommend both 100%!

Definitely would recommend these to others!!
The LH (ovulation) strips and the pregnancy tests work great!. There is a learning curve and I understand why some other customers were frustrated. I used these for two months and we conceived during the 2nd month. I'm a physician and I would definitely recommend these to my patients that are trying to conceive. Here are my recommendations for using this product so the frustration and stress is kept to a minimum. LH (Ovulation) Strips: - Test daily for a month; even if your cycles are regular. You might be surprised that your LH peak is slightly different from what you have calculated or what your app is predicting for you. - You may see a faint LH line even from day one; this is because women make LH throughout their cycle so a faint line is expected. - You will see the LH line get darker if you are having ovulatory cycles and it will be as dark as the control line the day your LH peaks. - REMEMBER: you ovulate 12-36 hours AFTER your LH peaks. - Keep using the ovulation/LH sticks a few days after you have your peak; this way you can see how long your peak lasts and the gradual decrease. Pregnancy Tests: Pregnancy tests work great as well. I was, of course, the impatient type and therefore started testing 1 week before my period was due. I got my first positive 1 day before my expected period. (Implantation can take place anywhere between 6-12 days post-ovulation). A faint line but definitely positive. Remember that the faintest line means there was hcg present in the urine for it to react. WAIT 3-4 minutes before you look at the strip. I had been testing almost daily so I knew what a negative strip looked like compared to a positive (with a very faint line). I retested 3 more times on the same urine and it was precise. I also dipped a pregnancy test strip into water and waited 3 mins and there was no test line at all (only the control line was present). (So glad these strips were cheap!) The next morning I tested with FirstResponse and it said "Yes". From my experience, the strips were precise and accurate. TTC can be stressful, so hopefully this helps some women understand the testing process a little better.

Great for the $, but not as early detection as expected
I am pretty divided on these. I used the ovulation strips and they were initially difficult to determine since I had been using a major drug store brand. With the drug store brand there was some lead up as the test line would get slightly darker as ovulation approached. The first two cycles I used these, there was almost no lead up, it was just faint one night and then positive the next morning. I was bummed because I missed the lead up, which is what seems to be the best time for me to do the BD. However, for whatever reason, these worked great the third cycle I tried them. The test line started faint and then gradually darkened so we were able to do the BD starting four days before I got a positive OPK test. I ended up getting pregnant as a result of the days of lead up (which was the desired outcome). As for the pregnancy test strips, I'd give those three stars. Right on the package these say "early pregnancy test" but these did not detect my pregnancy before other available tests. We were traveling when I was supposed to have my period so I took four of these with me. I didn't think to take any other brands of test with me because reviewers here had said they got faint lines before their missed period. I took a test three days before my period was due with first urine - negative. I took another one one day before with first urine - negative. So I went to a dollar store and bought the $1 kind you use a dropper with on the rectangular plastic tray - a very clear positive without using first urine. I took another one of these AccuMed tests with that same urine sample - negative. On the day of my missed period I finally got a very faint line with first urine. We arrived home and I took a First Response test and got a very dark positive, but still had a very faint line in the AccuMed tests with the same urine. While I am excited that I'm pregnant, and the AccuMed tests did do their job in detecting pregnancy, for me they were certainly not the "early detection" tests that they claim to be. Having figured out the kinks after a few cycles with these kits, I would probably buy these again, but I'd also buy another brand of early pregnancy detection test to back these up.

Pregnant after 14 yrs on birth control and endometriosis
I have endometriosis and had been on birth control for almost 14 years. My periods were irregular prior to birth control, being every 2-4 weeks and varying lengths. I didn't have a "normal" cycle. When my husband and I wanted to start trying for a baby, I knew I wanted to get something to help me track my cycles and ovulation, which is where this kit came in. I stopped taking birth control on January 25 and started testing immediately after my withdrawal bleeding stopped. First cycle was not successful (make sure you're "doing it" on the right days). Second cycle came around and it was successful! Now here I am almost 23 weeks pregnant from my second cycle after being on birth control for 14 years! Thank you so much for this product. I will definitely use it in the future. I peed into a cup each time, dipped the strip into the cup for approx 7-10 seconds, set strip on plastic plate to be flat and waited 3-4 minutes to read the results. Sometimes the app wasn't accurate with reading the results of the darkness/lightness of the ovulation lines so make sure you take the photo in the same room with same lighting to get the best results.

Just buy em
Here’s a brief background. I got PCOS years ago and I began only having periods once a year for 84 days straight and I’m 260 pounds. My testosterone levels were super high and I produced little to no estrogen. Went to a fertility doctor after trying to get pregnant the way everyone else does, where out of no where they’re pregnant. Spent a bunch of money on the first round and it didn’t work. I made sure the doctor started my cycle before I decided to stop. My husband and I agreed that I should try losing some weight first. I began to work out 4 days a week for 45 minutes for 2 months and I didn’t shed a ton of weight, but it kept my periods regular. I didn’t want to fully give up on trying so I ordered these strips. I DID NOT check my levels in any certain way. One day I would check at 3 am and the next day I would check at 2 pm. If your levels are good the strips will pick up on it. My husband and I just made sure that every time that test line was just as dark or darker than the control line then we would try making a baby. That line stayed dark for 2 weeks straight 😞 it was awful but we sucked it up and it payed off. I only used the strips for 1 month and got pregnant. I began taking them on my last day of my period. We are 3 months pregnant now with our first child. If you are overweight like me I would definitely recommend adding a small workout into your schedule just because the exercise promotes a lot of good things for your body. My last cycle was June 8th - 14th and I ovulated from July 19th - August 1st

Great but shorter date this time
The premom app is pretty easy and gives clear view of LH levels across the cycles. You can also use their Bluetooth BBT thermometer which adds your temps into the app as well. I’ve never had a false positive on the pregnancy tests, which some people say they’ve had. Last year I got pregnant first cycle using these tests with the app. I will note that the first pack of these I got had about 18 months remaining before the expiry date, and my next order only has about 6 months when it arrived. Not sure if getting though 100 tests in 6 cycles is reasonable, but the date doesn’t seem very long

100% efficace
