Sametop Frame Mount Case Housing Compatible with GoPro Hero 7, Hero 6, Hero 5, Hero (2018) Cameras

I have been using this mount for a couple of days now, its cheap, but not cheap in build quality compared to the go pro original. In use, we have found it to be very good, having access to the usb port on the side of the camera without having to remove the camera door completely is a real bonus and saves faffing about removing the camera from the protective case to do so, especially if just for a quick top up charge before the next use.The fit of the camera in the case is perfect, the supplied carbon fibre 'look' lens cover fits well and is a nice touch.The only minor gripes that I have is that unlike the original supplied mount with the go pro hero 7 black, this one does not have the additional rubber 'stopper' if you like that prevents any way of the camera coming unclipped from the base mount, although this is NOT required unless you were using it for extremely heavy duty use, and the only other (problem)!? we really had is that when being used on a vehicle, if on a windscreen or body panel of a car for instance, you really need to tighten the support/swivel bolt up rediculously tight compared to the original mount to stop it from moving when going over bumps etc. We found that when using the original mount, you just have to tighten the mount up sensibly, but with this one, the camera will still move unless tightened up really, really tight, not a problem, just a worry in case it were to break the plastic, but certainly not worth rating it any less than 5 stars overall as this problem only occured upon travelling lumps and bumps and would probbaly not affect most users.Overall, highly recommended, well worth the investment, I do not think you will be disappointed.

I bought this for my GoPro Hero7 as I was going on holidays and knew I would be taking a lot of different videos and photos. i thought this housing would make it a lot easier to transfer all my footage to my computer and have more ease with charging the battery up, I can say that this is definitely the case and it did not disappoint me in the slightest; it was so easy to access all the different ports which meant I did not have to take the camera out of the case like you do with the original one. The housing case feels very sturdy and lightweight just like the quality you would get from GoPro. This also comes with a little lens cover which is perfect for when you are not using the camera for the protection from scratches. I am very happy with this purchase and will be using this casing over the original. Could not recommend it enough. :)

I originally purchased a cheap GoPro frame from China but found that it was a very tight fit for my GoPro to the point that I thought that the camera was going to get damaged. I swiftly replaced the cheap frame with this Sametop one and the difference is night and day.The GoPro is easy to put in and take out of this frame and the battery door is easily accessible to charge on the go. The speaker and microphone cut outs are a bonus. Also, the build quality of the product is very good for the price. I’d recommend this frame to anyone who has a recent GoPro so that they can connect up a battery pack while shooting long videos and time lapses.

This product is fantastic. Anyone who has a GoPro Hero 7 standard case knows the hassle of having to take it off to charge the battery. The case eliminates that problem. The ease of access makes it so much greater and the look is basically identical to the GoPro one.Only negative from me is that you can’t access the battery compartment itself to change/swap the battery.

My genuine original GoPro case damages my GoPro 7 Black every time I take it in and out of the housing. The housing is just a bit too small and has torn the rubber coating around the shutter button. So I wanted an alternative to stop more damage from happening. I own a few Sametop products so figured I'd give their housing a try.It fits my GoPro 7 perfectly, taking the camera in and out is far easier than with the GoPro housing and even better, it's not doing any damage. The catch is easier to release, no more broken nails, and the camera slides in and out smoothly.The housing feels just as robust as the original and offers better access to the charging/HDMI side door. You can open the flap whilst the camera is in the housing, with the original GoPro housing you must remove the camera and detach the door before putting it back in.Unexpectedly the housing also comes with a lens cap, why on earth GoPro don't supply one I don't know.All in all another great product form Sametop that's better than the original from GoPro

The original go pro mount i had for my hero 7 made it unable to charge it while recording. This case removes that restriction.

Required a new case as the clasp on my official GoPro case had snapped off. Having read a few reviews I opted for this one. Almost identical to the official one. All opening doors/mechanisms seem sturdy. The additional of the door for the charging port is great. The plastic used to make the gasp feels slightly cheaper than the official case, just is terms of feel & the sound when closing the clasp. But that aside, a great case.

I bought this to replace the original camera case that came with my Hero 5. I have it fitted to my road bike but I find that the battery is inadequate for recording long rides so needed a solution to power the Hero from an external source so that battery was no longer the limiting factor - unfortunately the original case does not have a sufficient cut-out to allow this (or so I thought). This case allows the right hand cover to open with the hero in-situ allowing external power to be connected, the only issue is that the door will rattle. I subsequently found that the door can be carefully unclipped which will solve the issue of a rattling door for video's but may also mean that the original case would also allow connection of external power, however I need a second case for my MTB so remain happy with my purchase.
