Excellent for indoor/outdoor patchwork
I purchased this to seal and primer a small patch in my plaster ceiling. It had excellent adhesion and was very thick, so I didn’t have to worry about dripping from the ceiling. It dried quickly and sanded easily. I coated it with ppg ceiling paint, and it stuck well.I also used this to prime and seal a stucco patch outside. It worked well.

Yes, yes, yes
Easy application, worth the low price. Color is white primer. Covers very well, has a slight smell, didn't bother me any. Dries quickly.

Narrow Spray Pattern, will use it again!
I have had great success with Zinsser primers for covering stains, and preventing tannin color showing through wood such as cedar. I used this Zinnser to prime an old metal refrigerator, and it worked great. My only complaint, is that the spray comes out of the can in a fairly tight pattern. It's easy to spray it on too thick. The narrow spray pattern may have to do with the thickness of this oil based primer. I am very happy with the coverage, and this primer is easy to sand once it is dry. I will definitely purchase and use it again.

A very good choice of primer for small projects.
Needing a protective white paint for a short length of recycled 2x4, I substituted this primer. I usually try to avoid spray-cans, but small quantities of paint are not common. It was for use on an outdoor rack, for large garden tools, so primer is fine. Excellent choice, covering the stains of years.

Perfect for smaller places of odor, seals just like the paint
I’ll recommend this and similar products to anyone asking to seal in terrible odors, such as pet odors, decomposing food waste, decomposition, or other damage after cleaning the area and removing excess odor producing agents. Smooth texture, good spray quality (follow the instructions, have some can control are givens). Used appropriately nothing seeps through (used on floor and baseboards for cat urine this time) or you can re-spray easily when it dries if something got missed. Durable base layer. Color is true to description and a bright white.

Worked Fine
I was painting a white wall with scuff marks that would have required two coats. I used the product on the marks. The wall only required one coat of a modestly priced paint.

A game changer
I’m no novice to painting furniture. I usually use a brush. I recently bought a piece of furniture that had been painted with the same type of paint as IKEA furniture. If you try to repaint it, your paint won’t stick. That’s where this primer comes in. Spray is so much quicker than brushing it on. Then paint your furniture with any type of paint you like, and it comes out perfect. No issues with peeling off. Love it.
