Puma Men's Powercat 1.12 FG-M

My son really wanted these shoes, but we could not find them in a store. We ordered them from Amazon. They are wonderful! The size was right-on, and the quality is fantastic. I highly recommend these shoes.

The shoes bend in such a way when you run that they squeeze your toes. This is because the padding on the kicking portion is split so that the shoe only bends in between the pads. That portion then digs into your toes. Very uncomfortable while running, which is obviously a problem when playing soccer.

The cleats are sturdy and are great for grass fields. These cleats are highly recommended by me. The fit is great too. There is a nice feel and they are comfortable.

It is a PUMA. Need I stay more? No really, the kangaroo leather is seriously great. I really appreciate it.

I originally purchased the adidas 11 pro trx fg in a size 11 my normal shoe size but I found there was too much space in front of my big toes (about 1/2") even though the rest of the boot fit nice and tight. The last pair of cleats I had were too long and I ended up stubbing my toe all to often when shooting. I was tempted to size down to a 10.5 and hope the shoes would stretch in width to feel comfortable.but then I decided to give these Puma's a try in my normal size 11. They felt tight out of the box with about 1/4 inch space in front of my big toes. After a few games they are getting more comfortable but I have experienced no blisters breaking them in.They are made partially of Kangaroo leather but the stretching of this leather is somewhat limited by a fabric backing. Traction, maneuvering, running, shooting are all great with this shoe. Protection is good too. I've been stepped on a couple of times without too much damage. I played my last game in the rain and kept on my feet no problem and the rubber shooting elements gripped the wet ball well. I do have a gripe with the translucent sole plate because mild staining has appeared underneath from maybe moisture seeping in there but it's not a deal breaker as the rest of the shoe looks good after a dozen games.
