Works and performs great! Just as advertised. That being said it does not work well with certain cases but the work around is a couple of cheap usb c extenders that work wonderful. Great all in one hub! No overheating issues doing power use.

Very disappointed, got this and only used the one port. Now that I need to have two of the same kind of ports plugged in I find out that it only works for one. So I cannot charge my computer and have my dual display at the same time since I need to use the usb for my keyboard (so this device has to be plugged in)

I bought this because apple decided to only support USB C on the new MacBook pro. This hub is amazing! It gives you 2 complete USB-C port and 2 USB ports, a slot of 4K HDMI and plus 2 slots or micro SD card reader. It attached to my new Mac computer very well. It has 2 usb-c to connect into the computer, it actually just like a part of the computer, when you put in and remove the usb, it doesn’t move at all (not like the other one I got with 1 usb-c in). The only thing I wish this hub had was an extra USB port. I use to use mouse when I work on computer, so it takes one port, and then I use thumb drive…. One more USB port will come in handy for me. It is sure worth the investment!

Broke in 6 months.not good quality.

I'm a fairly simple guy; I just need the ports I was used to on my old MacBook Pro. Give me some reliable USB and an HDMI out, and I'm happy! The Towond USB-C fits the bill for traveling, having the basics in a tiny device without having to worry about connectivity. You can use it on either side of the 15" Macbook Pro without incident; my only complaint is the screen-printing on the outside that clearly indicates whether you're looking at it from the "front" or the "back" depending on whether it's the TOWOND logo or all of the FCC certifications. If you're looking for something beautiful, look elsewhere -- but in most cases, dongles are there to be functional, and this one's VERY functional. It serves up exactly what it's supposed to do: extra USB 3.0 ports, a couple of USB-C charging ports, and SD/micro-SD ports. An excellent buy and works well. Highly recommended.

This little USB-C hub has been a god send since I picked it up. It allows me to plug it in and instantly have universal compatibility to everything in my office. I can use one of the USB-C ports as a pass through from my 2 4K monitors, still have a second and even have added USB-A, HDMI, and SD Card readers. All the ports that I lost when upgrading to a Touchbar MacBook are now back. Its a little inconvenient to have to use a USB-C hub to accomplish that but, thats on Apple not the manufacturer of this hub.I plan on buying probably 2 more so I can have 1 at each of my main work stations and then 1 in my bag for when I am on the go.I will update this review if anything changes but its seems solid and a good little piece of tech so far.

This USB hub works great! I love that I can attach just about anything to my MacBook Air now... ergonomic keyboard, mouse, thumb drive, you name it! It seriously enhances my productivity because now I don’t have to email everything to myself just to get it onto my computer!
