Let me say this first, the polish is awesome and very pretty on the nail. Ok now this is where the confusion come in. After receiving the polish, the first thing i noticed, the colors on the pictures are very misleading!!! The color "Narcissus's love" and "Athena shield" are just a few shades aparts "Athena shield" being the darker color but still very much a blue color. Under the "FEATURES" Born Pretty clearly states " The nail color in pictures was done with 1 base coat + 1 layer color polish + 1 layer of top coat". So then under "SPECIFICATION" they state "No black base needed". which both of these statements are VERY BOLD!!! Cause neither one of the claims are true. I do enjoy the polishes,its just that the pictures and claims are VERY MISLEADING !!

I cannot review how long the polish lasts since I am only applying for the first time but the colors are lovely and are just as pictured (2 coats shown). Initially I was concerned because unopened it looked as though I only received two different colors instead of six, but once I finally opened each box and tried them on I realized just how stunning each of the colors are! I had already contacted the seller and they responded quickly and courteously. What wonderful customer service, thank you! Shipping took a little while longer but it's definitely worth the wait!

3 of these are almost identical. Honestly, 2 of them don't look different at all no matter how many coats I put on. These are also very thin and take 5-6 layers to get any solid color. Doesn't dry hard and desperately needs a hardening top coat. Hard pass on this brand.

I recently started painting my nails and this was a good product to introduce me into holo polishes. That said, you get what you pay for. The polish is very shear, so you need 3+ coats for it not to be opaque. I did not get the purple holo but 2 blues (oops!) in my package. The blue and white is pretty by itself and as a top coat to other polishes. The black is more of a gunmetal color-- it looks ok. I was underwhelmed by the color, admittedly.

This item took a long time to recieve. And when I did finally get it I was disappointed to find out the lighter colors were difficult to tell apart and don't really work as well as normal nail polish.... Your going to need maybe around 4-5 coats to be able to tell that you painted your nails with something other then shiny gloss. Very disappointing. And defiantly over priced.

Colors aren't as pictured...takes forever to dry. It's a sparkle nailpolish in teeny tiny bottles...nothing to write home about

These not only took forever to get here, they were expensive for the tiny bottles that came in. The polish is very toxic and harsh smelling. Only 1 of the 4 colors I got looked like the picture/s depicted. Totally regret this purchase. Even after all that, I painted my nails to give it a try, toxic smell or not. Got a headache over the strong smell and the polish didn't even last two days before chipping off. Maybe I just got a crappy set. I dont know, but I wont order again.

Except for the “black” looking one, there is no difference between the other 3 polishes despite each having a different name on the bottle. They’re still nice, and I now have a 5-year supply of one color, but I feel conned.

These are awesome. Look beautiful apply nicely and don't chip easily.

Could be brighter!Love the nail polish, this brand and the colours, however the colours are much more darker than they appear in the advertised pictures shown. I even took these pictures under the direct light or rays of the sun. Still very dull and dark. Dilevery took Exactly one month. Disappointed took that long!
