I keep buying these retractable leashes, I found them hiding under the bed. apparently my pup loves walking so much he takes the leashes to the bedroom and waits for me to wakeup and take him out for a walk. Well, I can't find them and here I go buying them over and over. happen to look over the bed at the puppy one morning and he was there with a retractable by his foot slipping under the bed. I take a look under the bed, BAM! I now own 8 retractable leashes ...

I gave 5 stars because as far as these leashes go this is about as good as it gets, that I can find. My advice would be to order the one designed for a much larger dog than it recommends. My dog is 25 lbs and I buy the biggest one possible made for large dogs. Even while doing this, they only last maybe one year before breaking but for 25$ or whatever it costs it's just something you need to reorder periodically. They dont last forever and are pretty much impossible to repair.

At first blush I’m very happy with this. It feels good in my big hands and has a smooth action. I’m using the medium sized offering with a six pound Morkie and it’s just fine. I traded up from one with the thin line type of lead that gave me “Rope burn” on my leg.

This seems to be a very sturdy leash our dog is strong and sometimes pulls this one is holding up well. We seem to have a leash last about two years but are hopeful this one will last longer.

Since 2 of our 4 big dogs passed away a few months ago, it has been so much easier taking the survivors to parks, walks and beach days. They were used to walking with chain leashes since we were afraid they might get off and run away. This was the first time we tried a fabric leash and a retractable. They had so much fun exploring further away and running back to be near us again. Hoping this will teach them how to be off leash and come back on command. Retractable leash never got stuck or tangled. Doesn’t show any signs of wear and tear.

This is the third one of these leashes we have purchased since the first of the year. We like the feel of the handle, but our dog chewed the leash on the first two! When we got this one, the third one, it has an added chew-proof extension...and should last for years. A great product and we would recommend it without hesitation.

This product is heavy duty and has made walking my Malinois on leash a joy rather than a burden. I wish it were easier to unlock with my left hand. Heavy duty, compact, perfect.

Got this to replace one I had used for almost 20 years.works very smooth in and out. Really like feel in your hand, very comfortable. My only concern when ordering was all the new leashes are using a 1/2 wide material for it, my old one was 3/4 inch wide, they say it was good for big dogs up to 110 lbs
