StainEraser 11001 The Pool Stain Eraser

This product does an excellent job of erasing away stains and algae from concrete pool surfaces. Similar to a pencil eraser. Unfortunately it wears down very quickly. It works best on pool sides if user has a weight belt on to get better leverage. I made a 3 foot piece of PVC pipe with 2 holes at end for latch to make the product more efficient to use. I live in Florida and go through 2 of these a year.

This is a great idea (?) but no better than a good scrub brush--there is nothing 'magical' here that can remove stains. While I found it able to remove algae, it did not remove actual stains, especially rust stains. Returning.

I bought this little tool to hopefully remove some stubborn little stains I had in the pool. It actually took out some of the stains, so it ACTUALLY DID WORK for that. HOWEVER, since you have to scrub somewhat vigorously, the brush sheds like a pencil eraser. So now you have to clean your pool for hours trying to get the all the little particles it leaves behind. Or wait a day or so for the filter to get them all.Overall, it’s too much work. Pass

Pleasantly surprised with how well this works. The pool company that built our pool used normal screws for the lighting, which began rusting in the salt water. I used this to remove most of the rust stains off the pebble tec without ruining the finish. It's not perfect, but it works well enough. Just bear in mind that the rough finish will shred up the soft material and it leaves a little residue (which you can easily brush down the main drain or vacuum up).

We have a 30 year old Gunite pool that had a variety of stains that our pool guy couldn’t remove. We had the pool resurfaced once 15 years ago because of these stains. Pool stains have returned over time. Recently someone told us about this tool. It attached easily to our pole and voila’ our pool looks as good as new…. NEW!!! It’s sparkling clean and not a single stain. I could cry! I couldn’t recommend it more! 5 Star product! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Works ok. Took some spots away but it was ineffective on other spots in my surface.

Super bummed to try out the staineraser to find out it didn't remove the stains in my new pool. Not sure what the stains are from - we had a few leaves settle in the corner where the stains are now (greenish color) so assuming from the leaves. Needless to say it didn't work for us.

I just had my pool built and due to the negligence of neighbor's contractors during their roof replacement, we ended up with rust stains in our pool! I heard this would require someone diving it the pool to drop acid right on the stains, but there were too many stains. I mentioned to a friend, and he told me about this tool. I was beyond impressed with how well it worked. We were able to "rub" off all of the stains like a magic eraser. The challenge is not floating up, so I gladly volunteered to stand on my husband, while he did the work. Also, he wore goggles to see best underwater. This tool is magical, and we highly recommend it.
