Ya gotta believe! Morey’s Funeral Home little league team will steal your heart. Loved the in-game action, especially when they face the Bankees, and the realistic banter between the players. So many funny moments. Must read for any youth baseball fan!

The language in this book is gratuitously crude. Bought it for a huge baseball fan. So bad that I just trashed it rather than donating it somewhere.

I would recommend this book to my friends and especialy all baseball lovers and even some (more like a lot of) major leaguers

The Mad Dash by David Aretha is such a well-written and fun baseball book. It brought back so many memories of my own childhood years playing little league. This is the perfect inspirational baseball book for youth. Ya gotta believe!

I really enjoyed reading this story with my boys. They love baseball and a good underdog story. With a team named after a funeral home, you know the team will have a lot to overcome in their season. Characters are well developed and the tension in the book is exciting even to an adult reader. I would highly recommend this book for homes and classrooms based on the language used and the good moral content and it is a good enjoyable story.
