Good grip, light color
These are perfect for my toddler to hold and learn finger placement. Unfortunately, they barely show on the paper unless you press down harder. Unless your toddler has an iron grip on a pencil and likes to heavy hand their drawings, I would suggest these for Kindergarten level.

Well built but poor color
These are the right shape and size for grasping. But color is low. Would require pressing down hard and still only faint value.
