Monster Trucks!

I bought this book for my 3 y/o son who loves playing with, and hearing stories about, all different types of large work trucks. I originally began to read this story to him from a "5 minute" collection of bedtime stories, and it quickly became his favorite. I purchased the actual book itself because it contains a few more pages than the bedtime stories collection, and now we read it everynight before he goes to bed. BLUF, if you have a young child in your life that loves dump trucks, bulldozers, and similar work trucks, then this is a great short story for them.

This is a great book but I will have to go back & buy a brand new one. The one I bought used from the merchant was an absolute disaster. Highly disappointed in its condition despite knowing it was a "used" book. Assumed the library where it had been would have taken better care of their books...I guess not. No fault to the author however. Great book.

My Great-Grandson loves trucks so this is the perfect book for him. The thick pages are good for a toddler. He looks at the book several times a week and we read it together. Definitely one of his favorite books.

My 2 year old little guy LOVES this book. It has a cool rhythm when reading aloud that will make your wee one want to recite along. I absolutely love it!

Yep, we borrowed this book from the library... twice... and my boys still wanted to read it daily. I decided to purchase it and was happily surprised to find it in board book form (the library version was traditional hard back copy). My sons are 1.5 and 3 years old... great read for toddlers. This book is not about monster trucks in the ESPN sense of the word "monster." Rather, the trucks themselves have monster personalities and physical features! Very fun book!

True, the title doesn't refer to "Monster Trucks" as in the big, noisy truck rallies. But the trucks in the book are monstrous - as in very large. My son loves cars and trucks of all kinds, and absolutely fell in love with this book. He began to memorize it after only 3 or 4 readings. We had borrowed it from the library, and he misses it so much that I'm buying it today.
