Detmar12-1127- Black Receptacle Flash Mount

I hope this will save someone down the line from making my mistake. I bought one of these to add to my pontoon and to fit the 2" polls for boat tables. And on the product descriptions, that detail is somehow left out. Anyhow, these black plastic one are thick, durable and the added tables to my pontoon fit nice and snug. Now, some complain that the table will spin around... Well of course it will if you push hard enough. There's no locking mechanism to prevent that. I suppose you could drill a hole and add a pin in place if it bother you that much.THESE ARE NOT FOR RV's. Word to the wise. I ordered the metal flush mount too and found out the difference then. Just FYI. RV table polls are 2 1/4". Come on industry!! Why make 1/4" difference in mounta b/w RV's & marine applications. And on both products, nowhere in the item description of them is that key bit of information!!And you will have to drill a 2.75" hole and have approx. 2" clearance under the floor for this to work. I couldn't be happier with the purchase!!

This wasn't the greatest thing I've purchased. When I got it in the hole and screwed down, the pole didn't fit right, then tried to adjust it and that made it too loose, throwing it away and getting a metal one for about the same price. Maybe you will have better success then I did.

This was a perfect replacement for the original metal one on my boat! I did have to make the floor hole larger but gratefully I had a jig saw to complete the installation!

easy to install, basic item. it fit my pontoon table perfectly.my only gripe as a mechanical engineer is that i wish they used a slightly larger diameter bolt pattern. it is too close to the 3inch cut out that it is inserted into(a larger diameter bolt pattern would allow for more holding stability and increase the product life and lifespan of the material it is attached to especially if it is plywood, simple design change and there is plenty of room on the product to do so).

A good match for my existing floor mount. Identical to look at but for a 2" pole is a very loose fit. Will have to make up a sleeve to give more stability to the boat table.

the mount accepts a 2" diameter pipe. It requires a hole of 2 3/4" diameter - per mfr. I used a 3" diameter hole saw and it works fine.
