H-Balm Control Extra Strength Forces of Nature 11 ml Liquid

When I placed my order, this listing was for Extra Strength H-Balm, and the inventory label on the box I received even lists that, but I received H-Balm Daily Control and the photo on my order history now shows that product, so that is what I am reviewing.The H-Balm Daily ended up working as I had hoped the extra strength would have, so that was lucky. I would have returned the product if I had not been absolutely desperate to do something about the crazy cold sores and fever blisters I was experiencing. I have lupus, so when I get sick, it's like nuclear apocalypse sick. This was not just a cold sore, I looked like I had just had lip injections done. I couldn't close my mouth, couldn't eat anything but ice cream - and it was disgusting because my lips were constantly weeping serosanguinous fluid.So this is the state my lips are in when I receive the wrong H-Balm and begin using it anyway. It pretty much tastes like perfume and hairspray, but that is better than pus. I did notice that in the first day the pain was reduced quite a bit. I can't say how quickly, because I was very cranky. By the third day, my lips had deflated to normal size, and the new skin under the blisters had healed enough that I was able to use normal lip balm and drink coffee.I don't know how it works, but I am so glad I stumbled upon a recommendation for this stuff.

Although I do not suffer from cold sores, several of my family members do, some from as young as 1 year old. I found this product years ago when researching homeopathic remedies for cold sores. This product works better in stopping cold sores in their tracks than any other over-the-counter or prescription product we have used through the years, especially when used at the first "tingling" sign of a flare up. Even if you don't catch the cold sore before it is full blown, this product reduces the severity and length in half. My daughter, son and husband won't be caught without their "blue stuff". Note: this product has a very strong smell and it tastes awful on the lips but I understand this is a small price to pay for how well it works. The product comes in several different strengths but our experience is with the Extreme or Extra strengths.

If you suffer from cold sores, this stuff is AMAZING! I have tried every prescription and over-the-counter as well as "Natural" remedy and this stuff blows anything else out of the water. If you can put it on religiously several times a day and keep your lips well hydrated it will expedite the healing process and shorten the duration. My cold sores go from the break out swollen stage to scab and healing in 1-2 days. If it's a small sore it will be gone in 24 hours.

I'm no biochemist, so I haven't got any direct proof that it does anything besides soothing the pain...But it does that really well. Better than the topical lidocaine and benzocaine I've gotten from doctors.It smells extremely strongly of tea tree oil ("melaleuca alternifolia" in the ingredient list.) So you might want to show up at work prepared with some kind of cover story as to why you're oozing tea tree smell-rays. LOL.

The product works fast

Has been very soothing and I have been seeing an improvement. I did, however order the extra strength but the normal has been working. im reunning low so I'm now ordering the extra strength.

Have purchased this product for several years and could always rely on fast action. Recent purchase was not as effective. Upon comparing ingredients from older versions of the same product (with exact UPC), the new version no longer contains lemon balm (Melissa) essential oil. This ingredient is extremely expensive and extremely effective.I will not purchase this product in the future

This helps me a lot. I actually use this very frequently (almost daily) to prevent outbreaks and I have noticed a big difference in occurrence since I've been using it. I just dip a Qtip in it and rub against my lip.
