I have a very excited border collie, Cooper, who is 15 months old and likes to pull like he’s a husky. He also has problems with going crazy when he sees a bike, dog or golf cart so I need something very sturdy. I have tried SIX different collars/harnesses including this one. I tried a martingale, gentle leader and various harnesses. None of those helped much with pulling and I also worried about his safety and comfort as he would choke himself with some. I really didn’t feel this one would be much different honestly but figured I’d try again. I am amazed!! Not only does it STOP his pulling but it in no way seems to be uncomfortable for him. It also feels extremely safe and sturdy and I feel I have great control while we work on him going crazy when he sees certain things. I simply couldn’t be happier with this harness and am so glad I gave it a try!

This is the best. My fussy dog will allow this harness whereas she tries to chew off other ones. Very helpful if your dog is heavy and pulls when walking, but will not really train your dog to walk properly. You have to have another plan to use in conjunction with this for training leash manners. It is too comfy for the dog to be a disincentive against pulling.Try not to get this wet- I wouldn't let your dog wear this swimming or for water play. It takes a while to dry properly.Most importantly, this is the only harness my Houdini dog can not escape from. We used 3 others before investing in this one.

My pup is a boxer/hound mix who pulls like crazy when we walk. This is the only harness that's given me a fighting chance of wrangling him. ;) Joking aside, it truly does a great job. We use the front clip to prevent him from pulling us down the road, and having the loop on the back is great if he lunges at a squirrel/rabbit/whatever and I need to hold onto him a little tighter.He does occasionally get chaffing spots under his front legs even with the velvet coating, but much less severely than when we've used other front-hook leashes, and only when he's wearing the harness for a prolonged amount of time.Would definitely buy this again if anything happened to ours. If you have a strong, overly-eager, or otherwise difficult-to-walk dog, I'd absolutely recommend trying this harness out.

I can't believe the difference this harness has made when I walk my dog. He's a 35 pound beagle, so he's not hard to handle, but he used to pull like crazy when we walked and constantly coughed and choked as he pulled against his collar. The first time I used this harness I was floored. My sweet beagle trotted along obediently by my side. When he tugged to one side, the harness gently pulled him back toward me. So he just didn't tug anymore. He held his head up instead of down, and he didn't pull or choke. Simply incredible! To test him, I walked him the next day and completely removed his collar so all he wore was the harness. Again, he walked right by my left side while the leash hung limply in my hand. I've used it many times since with the same results. I wish I'd known about this harness years ago. I highly recommend it!

My dog runs away every time I bring out this harness. When the leash is hooked to the front of the harness, the harness loosens up and pulls to the side, which puts pressure under my dog's front armpit instead of the center of the chest. It also has a velvet-like lining that makes my dog itch and scratch where it rubs against his fur. This harness has not helped me train my dog to stop pulling. I am now using a training prong collar with plastic tips instead. My dog does not mind the training collar (does not run when I put it on him) and he has mostly stopped pulling, and is heeling now like a charm. I do not recommend this harness for training a large dog not to pull.

This has got to be the best dog harness ever! It is very well-constructed of heavy duty materials. I have no worries that this harness will break. Holding this harness in one hand and a typical harness in the other, the difference is very apparent.This package came with the harness as well as a very sturdy lead with two clips to be used with the dual lead attachments on the harness. You don’t have to use the dual option though. You can clip it to one of the rings only and the lead can also be used as a 5’ lead or a shorter 2.5’ lead.We are using this on for 18 month old Collie. She is very high energy and very curious and is an escape artist to boot. She can’t wiggle out of this harness. The cool thing about this harness is it gently puts pressure on her chest when she pulls. This doesn’t hurt her but does get her attention and then there is a second lead attachment in the front of her neck that you can use to redirect her attention.The harness also has a velvet lining on the part that goes under her front leg area for comfort and so that it does not rub.It did take a few minutes to figure out how to put it on her and how to get it adjusted correctly. The included instructions are very clear though – so make sure to refer to them.Last but not least, they have a “chew policy”. If this harness gets chewed or otherwise damaged they will repair it for the cost of shipping. Since our pup has managed to chew through 2 other harnesses and 2 collars and this harness was a bit more expensive than the others, I found this to be an added bonus. Although I do feel if this one is appropriately adjusted she would have a hard time chewing on it.All in all, I’m pleased with this purchase.

The Very Best Harness & Leash I have come across for use with my standard poodle puppy. Simple yet ingenious design, with multiple options. The leash has multi-functional handle with 2 available leads with attached clips -- clip both to the harness using the back or front loop, or one clipped to each for better control when needed. I also like the option of securing her while seated in the cargo area in the back of the SUV with the door open while working on projects in the garage - she is safe and enjoys the freedom to hang out with me. The harness fits like a dream, and very comfortable -- both Stella and I love it for many reasons and will order again!! Highly recommended - My favorite leash/harness solution ever for a busy, strong and active puppy-dog!

I love this harness! It's the only one my pet trainer recommends. My dog has real prey drive so using a leash that clips at the collar was a nightmare for her and for me. With this harness I am able to control her better and her no pull leash skills have greatly improved. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is the price. It's expensive for a leash. But at least it is very well made in the US.

This medium is way too big for a Jack Russell. It was the recommended size but a small will fit better...darn..

Our boy is pretty stubborn with the pulling and this helped tremendously. He can still pull, but he's a lot easier to direct with this and my arms aren't being pulled out of their sockets.

Does not stop the dog from pulling. Allows decent control but the term "no pull" is definitely untrue. The product itself is well made but we are really disappointed as it was fairly expensive and does not do what it advertises.
