For people having issues with it squeaking, you probably tightened all the bolts immediately. For things like bed frames, tables and roll carts you should install the bolts hand tight at first, then go back and tighten them all after it is assembled and placed where you want it. That helps the legs get settled and prevents twisting/preload that can cause some stability problems. I didn't tighten anything until the frame was completely assembled and all the slats were installed and it's perfect. For those who have had the legs buckle, I would have to question the circumstances. The frame is very sturdy, solid and free of slop. I don't see how the average person could possibly bend the legs without some kind of major abuse. Maybe a very heavy couple who flop onto it could have issues, but even that is a stretch. If the support legs are in the correct place and the outer legs were assembled/tightened properly, there won't be a failure. You will get a few extra slats and slat end pieces which is nice. The assembly is easy, it's just tedious. I used an impact driver and ratchet to speed things up on the frame but there is no quick way to install the slats. I do not move, toss or turn at all and I always sleep in the same spot so I put the double reinforced slats in that area rather than all the way across as pictured. All in all its a great frame sits the exact height I wanted with a 14" mattress and 4 inch quilted topper.

Awesome purchase!! I like everything about this bed - good price, easy to assemble, with storage underneath, AND free delivery to my home in Alaska with my Prime membership. Having something heavy delivered right to my door beats having to schlep it in my tiny car. Seems good quality (though my memory foam mattress slides atop of it a bit, easy fix.) I was happiest about how easily it went together. I have terrible arthritis in both hands and was not looking forward to dealing with tiny nuts and bolts. But it came with great hardware, even extras, 2 tools needed, and fairly clear instructions written in english (I did not see any directions in other languages so that could be problem for some folks). Instead of a hammer its best if you have a rubber or rawhide mallet for installing slats. It also came with extra slats and slat holders. All the packaging is recyclable. One downside is it was manufactured in China. If I had it do over again I'd shop for American made. Still a solid 5 from me.

I purchased this bed frame in a regular twin size for the foundation of my new regular twin size memory foam mattress. The bed frame was easy to put together with the supplied instructions and if needed, online video. All holes were drilled and aligned perfect. It took this senior citizen a bit of time to get all 7 legs attached to the frame, prepare all 24 wood slats and get them attached. I am happy with this purchase. The frame is sturdy, does not wobble, slides easy on my tile floor for moving around if needed. The frame is at a perfect height with my mattress for ease of getting in and out of bed. There is also plenty of unobstructed room for storage under the bed, one of the reasons I bought this bed frame. The middle wood slats on the frame are adjustable for a plushier feel but I have chosen not to adjust them until I see how the mattress feels after using awhile. Delivery of my bed frame was only a few days. The box it arrived in was pretty beat up, the inner boxes that held the wood slats minimal strength. All parts arrived in good condition though, with extra slats if needed. I would recommend this bed frame to friends purchasing the same twin size for the same reason and purpose. I cannot comment on other sizes.

The reviews are pretty much correct, thus far. The wood is indeed obviously cheap, and prone to cracking, if you don't have at least a few slats that don't come pre-cracked. Fortunately, i don't know everybody will receive the same, but I was left with three replacement slats. The plastic connectors between slat and bed frame aren't terribly well made. The smaller of them secure to the frame decently, the larger ones seem prone to popping out at any moment. Saving grace of this thing seems 1) price; 2) If you are looking for no more than three inches between slats, there just aren't that many options unless you pay a fortune. It's easy to put together, but time consuming, due to all the pieces. Anybody who put together a California King one of these in 20 minutes (WTH?!) clearly is neighbors with Walter White. I'd give this 3 stars, but for the price. Will modify listing when in use a while. I used four tons of car jacks to stop the legs f4om bending, SO IT BROKE AT A DIFFERENT POINT.

I bought this to use with my 12 inch memory foam mattress, it works great. I set the slats to the most flexible position and that seems to be the most comfortable. Assembly is easy (tighten the 4 corner legs screws after you put in a few slats)The frame is very sturdy but light and sometimes the whole bed slides. (use your imagination on that). I put rubber stoppers on them and it did the trick. It does not have an attachment for a headboard so I used heavy duty zip ties.

Delivery was wonderful - no complaints. The frame is lightweight and easy to move, even with a mattress on it! After struggling to get up from my old platform bed (bad back), the height of his frame is a blessing!Now for the negatives. The ad noted 'marble enclosed'. ??? No marble found. Also, there was supposed to be a 'free gift'. No free gift enclosed. ??? I don't understand how ANYONE could put this frame together in one hour!! More like 2 hours. I found three split/cracked slats ... Thank goodness there were 2 extra slats! Regarding the comfort level ... There wasn't ANY mention of how to adjust the slats to make them 'plush'. Oh well. I wish I could have given a higher rating, as I've been very happy with other items I've purchased from Amazon
