Putting a stop to chaos.
No matter the scheme, it seemed there was no way to effectively deal with all the sockets in my tool boxes. Utter chaos as the headline implies; finding the socket I need at any given time was a waste of valuable effort as the sockets I want was always hidden. Not any more, as I have dealt a death-blow to the constant search for a 1/2" six point or the 3/8" shallow 1/4" socket. These socket holders are fantastic in that they are so easy to load and unload, yet the sockets are very secure - I dropped one of the loaded rails and not one socket came loose. I turned them upside down and the same thing, the sockets stayed where they were supposed to.At about 15" in length, the rails were too long for my new tool roll's pockets and needed trimming. No problem as I measured what needed to be loped-off and using a hand saw quickly made the cuts. Now the loaded rails fit in their pockets on the tool roll with ease and I have no more issue with the wasting of time looking for the socket I need now. Truly this will end one of my frustrations when wrenching and I highly recommend these rails to those who also struggle with finding their sockets in a timely manner. I'll be buying another set for the sockets in my SAE tool box.

Nice rails, plastic anvils can fail
These are very nice, especially for the price. You can add/remove the plastic anvils to either side of the rail, allowing for extra sockets to fit each one (if you can find the plastic anvils without wasting money to buy more rails). They're pretty well made, hold 1/4 and 3/8 sockets fairly well. That said, these things are not really built for larger sockets. It's extremely easy to break the anvils when using these with larger sockets, especially the larger sizes of 1/2" drive sockets. Being so heavy individually, they'll work well if you don't intend to remove the rail from a tool box and leave the sockets standing on end.. Otherwise, you'll end up breaking the anvils.Pros:Holds a lot of sockets, if you can find more anvilsFairly heavy plastic construction, not easy to breakGood value for the costCons:Definitely breakable, if using with large sockets

Should have done this a long time ago
Becoming brittle. Some of the mounts have broken too easily.I should have purchased these a long time ago. The time I've lost hunting for sockets in the bottom drawer of my organizer is much more than I care to admit. The organizer is made of solid ABS plastic with rubber caps at the ends. The locking balls in the holder are metal. All three sized sockets in both metric and standard push on and come off easily. The sockets also do not fall off when the organizer is handled or carried around. I like to bring the socket organizer right to where I'm working, saves a lot of time. There is a hole at the end for hanging vertically on a hook or screw.

Pretty good Product
I bought these to throw into an 18" tool bag. I've had a few weeks and have used them at least a couple of times a week. With all of them together some of sockets are flopping around in there and one of the 3/8 holders snapped off. A few of the sockets are really hard to get off forcing me to use a screwdriver. I'm afraid of breaking it when I do but haven't yet. And likewise, a couple are easy so I always have a socket or two in the bottom of the bag. Not bad really, a lot better organization than nothing. I like that all my metrics and SAE are together in one place for travel, just grab the bag and go.

Must for DIYers
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a must fro any DIYers. I always had issues finding the tools at the right time. I have all the tools but couldn't find when a certain size is needed. This tiny holder solved the problem. Now i can have all my small tools in a single place.Over all this is a very good product, I recommend giving it a try.

Disappointed
These little guys were cheap - probably their strongest selling point! I started organizing my sockets on them, and broke several just from pushing the sockets on to them! Recently bought some holders with aluminum rails, and they're so much better! Spend a little more and get reliable!Note: I've put my good sockets on Olsa or ABN (interchangeable) rails, and the cheap Taiwan sockets on these; might as well use them for something, and the ones that didn't break work okay...

Junk
Sockets won’t stay on the rail. The rail it self is way to short, it doesn’t fit the normal amount of sockets. I had bought socket rails from harbor freight and my socket sets would fit perfectly on the rail but would easily fall off the rail so I thought by buying this product it would help but it’s just as worse as harbor freight. Don’t waste your time and money on this product. If your some one who only owns one little set that’s just do things at home then maybe this would be ideal for you however if your a mechanic that uses sockets ever day THEN THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU! Who would of thought buying socket rails could be so complicated

This product is worth the price you pay for it
There are several manufactures of the product including Craftsman, Lowes, etc. However, the price of this product is less than half of their cost and works as well as the higher cost items. Since I have just received this item and haven't have time to assess its durability, I can't give it a real assessment and thus went halfway with the stars. I like the ability to add more clips or replace broken clips as these clips are made of plastic and over time plastic gets brittle and breaks.

Clips break easily
Nice socket holders but the individual plastic socket retainers break even from light usage.
