Pub Grub

As the daughter of a London's West End publican and being around pub food most of my life, the trend now is for a more gastro type pub food. With fresh cooked, large meals. A good old plain "pub" served no more than ploughmans lunches, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, several good cheeses, assoted pickles and a fresh bone in ham that was carved in front of the customer. While there are some really good recipes in this little book, it's certainly more than pub grub, I guess if they called it party food and then some it might have a more truthful ring to it.

If you have been to England and eaten the food over there, this book is really great to have to try to make your own "Pub food".

Great recipes in this book! Takes me back to my roots and can't wait to try them out! I'm so excited!
