Wonderful everyday companion
Why did I waste all these years without a pocket knife? This one has the perfect size to go on a key chain without producing bulky pockets, and has a great selection of features. While small, the blade is sharp and is great for opening packages. The scissors are very handy to cut off loose threads in your clothes, trim a split nail, etc. The pen is handy when crossing out items on your shopping list or having to sign something unexpectedly. You're cleaning and something small is stuck in a narrow space? Try the tweezers. Want to tighten a screw? Use the Phillips screw driver. Have to pry apart a key ring? Use the regular screwdriver. I admit that I have yet to use the file, though, but somebody pointed out that it could be useful to extend the length of the knife when used as a pen.I bought this shortly after having had the Rambler for a few weeks when I was wondering what compact pen to carry with me every day. I don't miss the tooth pick at all, the knife and the screwdriver serve its purpose nicely (I only used it for poking around in narrow spaces). The pen takes up a little more space than the took pick did, so the Manager is a tiny bit thicker than the Rambler.I'm also happy that the pen is replaceable with the Victorinox Retractable Pen Refill, which I already bought to have it available when I need it.In addition to this little gem I only carry a Photon Freedom and an Olight I3E EOS SILVER on me at all times, and am not missing anything most days!

Favorite everyday Swiss army knife for a desk job
Compared to the Classic, the Manager and Rambler models improve on it by making the blade open away from the keyring, so it's easier to use without taking it off your keys.I find myself needing a toothpick more often than a tweezers, so I replaced the toothpick with a tweezers. The ballpoint pen is pressurized, so it writes vertically with no problem. The ink is of good quality and doesn't take a lot of scribbling to get going. The Phillips screwdriver tip is amazingly good. It works on #1 AND #2, as long as the #2 isn't too tight. The nailfile/screwdriver tip makes an excellent light-duty prybar, so you're not tempted to use and bend or break the blade. The scissors is razor sharp and works well on everything. I use it most often for trimming errant threads from my clothes, removing tags from clothes, and snipping coupons or articles from magazines or newspapers. The only thing I'd change is to use a harder blade steel. It is quite easy to sharpen; just a few strokes on each side from my Spyderdo Triangle Sharpmaker. But it would be nice if it retained that razor edge for longer. I think they used a softer blade steel so the blade wouldn't break as easily when some idiot uses it to pry. This is my third one of this model. The first one, I lost to the TSA in the airport, having forgotten I had it on my keys. The second one fell out of my pocket somewhere. On my third one, I tied a small fob on the keyring so it doesn't slip out of the pocket so easily. (I don't carry it on my keys; it makes the keys too clunky)

Well made, small and light
This is a beautifully made pocket knife, masha'Allah, very small and light with a lot of useful features. Probably my most used tool is the pen!The knife is razor sharp. Although small, I was able to use it to cut a normal-sized apple in half by cutting all the way around the apple and then giving the apple a slight twist. The Phillips screwdriver is just small enough for my eyeglasses and is perfect for changing batteries in all kinds of electronic devices. Although the Phillips will drive screws bigger than size 0/1, I strongly advise against doing so as I actually ended up slightly damaging the driver that way. After a little dressing with a file, it's ok now. I now use the tip of the nail file (which is a flat screwdriver) to drive larger Phillips screws, though the amount of torque I can apply is limited due to fear of bending/breaking the hinge mechanism. The tip of the flat screwdriver is not quite thin enough to drive very small flathead screws. That can be fixed with a file or sharpening stone if desired.Although the bottle opener is not intended to be used as a jar popper, if it were just slightly larger it could be used that way like I can with the bottle opener on my 91mm Victorinox Ranger knife. Finally, it would be nice to have saw teeth on the nail file for extra utility. All in all, I'm very happy with this knife and the fact that it's barely noticeable on my keychain means that it's always with me, which is not the case with some of my other tools.

Everything a city goer needs
Had the Swiss signature. I liked that one a lot for its compactness and pen. But I needed a bottle opener so I bought this one. Just a little bit heavier than the signature.

The perfect EDC tool.
So many useful tools for everyday use in such a small package. Knife, scissors, file, flat head screwdriver which also works as a nail cleaner, small Phillips had screwdriver (also works well on standard Phillips screws which is a huge bonus), wire stripper, bottle cap lifter, ballpoint pen, tweezers, and also includes the toothpick, although you have to choose between putting the tweezers or toothpick in the knife as there's only one slot.Knife and scissors are sharp. Usual Victorinox quality. Small enough to carry on a keychain. The price seems a bit high, but considering the quality and the fact I use it so often, it justifies the price.
