Easy to put together
It’s just alright. I have a little dog and she wouldn’t use it

My dog won't go up or down them.
My little dog won't climb them. Maybe if there was some padding in the steps she would.

My cat hates it and hates me for buying it
It is easy to assemble but a little wobbly. It is reasonably nice looking. The only problem is that my cat hates it and hates me for buying it.

Good for price.
This product was confusing to put together at first, but I realized I had to use a drill to connect the pieces because holes were missing. It’s exactly like the picture.

not even novice "home depot" creation quality
I just had hardwood floors installed and my bed is pretty high with the box spring and mattress (about hip height ~ 3ft give/take). My cat is getting older and I noticed he started needing a running start to get up and even then he claws on to keep from sliding back off. I looked around at BBB and others and I didn't need anything crazy or elaborate. I wanted something that can be used as a boost and not so big I needed to walk around like I was walking around my deck stairs which was the case with the other pet steps I saw. I saw this and gave the benefit of the doubt. Plain and simple, I shouldn't have. I thought it would be more softer in material...nope. All it is a poorly templated subframe of crap craft wood and thin ply board and a cheap fleece cover that slips over it.Cons-- the pilot holes are poorly placed (assembled, the thing rocks like a rocking chair) - looks like a blind person was drilling while on a balance ball- my cat is about 16 lbs - big cat, I hear the steps creak when he stepped on it- "fleece" cover maybe be somewhat fitted but 2nd step has no elastic as the top and bottom step so if pets tend to run/launch up the steps, they slip on the second step (it needs to be anchored some way)- cheap materials- horrible on non-carpeted surfaces (slides away at push what so ever) - needs stick on rubber/silicone feet or something- after 2 slips, the cat would rather risk arthritis and a broken leg - went back to the straight jumpI wish the wife didn't toss the box. I would have returned it just out of principle. Even if the return amount would be close to the actual cost, I wouldn't want the manufacturer to keep even an extra penny of my money for this crap creation!! I am ashamed I didn't heed the 1 star warnings and was generous enough to try it. Please do not make my mistake. Anybody who listed as 4 or 5 star is obviously getting paid, got lucky with true pilot holes, or does not have a clue what proper should be. I think I will even try calling the company.

The side walls could stand to be just a little thicker, but overall a good product.
Our little one figured out how to use in just a few minutes. We were afraid that she wouldn't bc she is so timid about new things. She hopped right up the steps like ahead had been doing it all along.

Works but not great quality
At first I wasn't sure if it will be tall enough for the bed, but I gave it a try anyway because I was too lazy to make my own. It came in a small box (smaller than I thought) and pretty easy to assemble. The wood is not that durable but if you have a 5lb puppy like me, it won't be a problem. The screws do not screw in tightly so I had to put wood glue on it just to make it safer. The white plush cover is okay but not that great of a quality. At first my dog won't use it, he would just put his paw on the first step. I had to guide him up and down a few times before he got use to it. Now he uses it all the time instead of jumping off the bed. When he jumps off, it scares me so much since it looks like he is jumping off a cliff. I do wish that the steps were wider so he doesn't have a harder time getting up and down. I think if I need another one I will just make my own since the quality is not that great.
