As good as the original valkyrie
This is a great light. I used to carry surefire lights on my carry gun until the original valkyrie came out. It held up to several dozen hours of classes, nearly a hundred of hours of training, and over 30000 rounds before this light came out. All on a 10mm. I haven't been able to put the same round count on this light as the original, but I have no doubt it will preform just as well. The 300 lumen boost is nice, but not all that noticable. Since it takes four times as many lumens to appear twice as bright, a 300 lumen increase on a 1200 lumen light isn't much. The beam pattern and tint is the same as the original. The tint isn't great, but it is fine for self defense in low to no light, and I prefer the hot spot on this light to the surefire. The light seems more concentrated, but without the bounce back I get off of surefires, if that makes any sense. I also like the controls of the olight more than surefire or streamlight. I was worried at first about the switch being electronic, but the original valkyrie never had an issue, and this light appears to have the same switch, just with an additional low mode. The real benefit of the pro over the original is the magnetic recharging. I burn through cr123s like crazy on the original valkyrie, and several times I showed up to the range or a low light class, and the batteries died shortly after the shooting started. Not a big deal on the range, but not great in an emergency. Now I just recharge my weapon light at the same time I charge my handheld carry light, and I don't have to worry about a dead light ever again. Plus, the 30 dollar increase over the original valkyrie pays for itself in batteries in just a few months. The valkyrie pro has now replaced the original valkyrie on my carry gun, but both are outstanding lights. I still keep the original valkyrie on my training gun for the ability to swap batteries out and keep training when the light dies.

Forever an Olight Fan!
I love this product! It is my first Olight product but from the packaging all the way to the product itself, it is quality.Items:Comes with small allen wrench, glock or 1913 rail adapters, manual, and proprietary magnet charger. Packaging is made with very high eye to detail and care. Magnet charger is different according to the model purchased. Since I did order the PL-Mini 2, I did try to use the same charger for both. This one (PL-Pro Valkyrie 1500) come with the MCC 1A charger and will only work with this one. Chargers do have a green and red light to indicate status.Brightness: it's 1500 lumens. Easily lit up my small bedroom. Very focused center with some minor soft outer edge. If lit up someone's face at night, will easily temporarily blind that individual.Quality: Over all the quality is superb. Nice heft to it, machining is amazing and has nice tactile paddles on either side.Disclaimer:I did try it on my Canik TPSFX however the attachment did not fully grasp on picatinny rail location. Canik's rail is a little on the thicker side. Fit my CZ and Masada just fine. Conclusion:GO FOR IT! In my honest opinion, This is a great light for a home defense weapons without breaking the bank and spending the money on batteries constantly.

Solid, ambidextrous, rechargable rail light
Purchased for my H&K VP9 for home defense. Changed the mount to the 1913 style rail with included parts in 5 minutes. Feels like a bright, quality, functional light. Fits snug on the trigger guard. Very slight movement front to back the first time turning on due to tolerance of the rail mount, but shouldn't move again unless I pull the light backwards. Quite bright, though I can't measure whether it's 1500 lumens (lights often don't produce exactly the lumens they advertise). Purchased this one because I want reliability, ease of use for left handed operation, and rechargeability (love the magnetic charging). So far I love it. Will update if I have any issues.

Perfect for EDC
I carry a Glock 19.5 and this light is absolutely the one I'd trust my life with. It's very bright and easy to use even for a lefty like myself. The strobe function is potentially a lifesaver. I like that it adds a little weight to the front end of the firearm so running the weapon it is attached to has a little less felt recoil.

Awesome!
The shipping was super fast and the seller answered all my questions quickly. The light looks awesome and functions out the box perfectly. I am using it on a G19 and it fits perfectly. Due to the state being on a “stay at home order” I can’t test out how the light will hold up once I start running rounds through my Glock but I have heard great things about the light.

Solid light, great charging method
I use one of these on a handgun as well as on a short rifle, both exceptional hosts. For the price this light is great, can get warm though if it turns on in an IWB holster but if you get a quality one made for this lights footprint it should'nt be an issue.

Very great ..... with a catch ...
First impressions out of the box are great everything was really great quality . I couldn’t wait to use it and play with it a little until I got familiar with the controls . When I realized I needed a new holster I though I’d just stick to the 20-30$ cheap IWB ones unfortunately it’s very hard to find holsters that work with this light attachment.A lot of the ones I see on the market for my glock 17&19 / beretta m9a3 all fit for the TLR series of lights ... the reason why I avoided them in the first place is cause who the hell wants to carry and change batteries ??Unfortunately I do not plan on spending 300$ on 3 holsters to carry a light attachment and probably going to end up returning it.Again it’s just not for me I need something more compatible that’s not going to cost me an arm and a leg. On the other hand if those aren’t reasons why you want or need a new light I’d still highly recommend this product it’s good in my books.

Bright and charges quickly
Awesome light, easy and fast to recharge. I keep it on my home defense weapon and illuminates the whole room. Be aware though that if you're Also using a red dot or reflex sight, you will have to turn the brightness up all the way. Light is so bright it easily makes your reticle disappear
