I bought these cute little scissors as I sew a lot making quilt tops. So end up picking up scissors numerous times an hour. These lightweight very sharp scissors are perfect for snipping the threads. I don't wear out these old arms just picking up heavy ones to clip. So cute I have had people comment on them thinking they were antique

I already had a pair of these in the brass color that I had bought on an embroidery site, for more $(too much). These are a great price on amazon. I own several embroidery scissors including a couple of expensive brands from France and Germany- these are from china- and these scissors are definitely the best thread snippers of the bunch. The blades are super sharp, and while a bit stiff and heavy, the perfect snips make up for it totally. The blades are stainless steel, but the handles do not react to magnets, so are pot metal. The color is washed on so as to look antique, they are not actual brass or copper. The screw holding them together looks like it's not a quality join. If carelessly dropped they will probably not hold up well. At this price though I'm still happy with them. I got a second pair figuring they are not going to last forever, like my expensive ones. I appreciated the included plastic tip protectors but I prefer leather sheaths, which can also be found on amazon for a very good price. Yup, they are not highest quality, but surprisingly I really like them.

I adore these little scissors. I gave a pair to my mom too. (Actually she stole them. 😀) really nice for the price. Definite staple in my notions supply! I use them to snip thread Or in lieu of a seam ripper. Would make a great little gift for your quilty friends!

These scissors are as beautiful as they are sharp! I absolutely love them, they cut nicely and with ease, plus the little tip covers are an added bonus! There's three of each color of the covers for a total of 12. Overall a great purchase.

I actually have no reference to other scissors for cutting embroidery floss so I’m just guessing that while the point is SUPER sharp and I do use the pink tip for safety, the actual cutting area may not be as sharp as they could be?? Having said that, they’re good enough. They are cute and for some reason they came with more safety tips than I will ever use.

Great small scissors.My wife crochets a lot and these are great not only because they’re super sharp, but they easily fit into a pouch for travel.They’re also the only scissors she can use for Pom-poms since the tips are super thin.The silicone tips are a great addition for safety as they can definitely poke through things even when closed.Plus, she loves the look of them.
