Make sure you line both the new and old together!The new will have an extra wire harness connection which is white so if you try to put the new one in it will not work! So as I said line the two up and you can take of the the white connector!!With a flat head driver take off the metal brace close by the white connector..it runs across it. From there just apply pressure to snap the white connector piece in whole and it should come off..Now….pull the white arm that’s still connected and you should be home free. Make sure you have a Allen wrench set a small set at that it’s 3 Allen screws to take out and make sure you don’t lose them.There are videos on YouTube if you have trouble finding the screws.Good luck.Mines works good as new. I was very upset when I tried to install it yesterday,but I slept on it and have an idea and it work guys!!!!

I bought this because it was my part number and NOT the keyless entry model. However I received the keyless entry model that does NOT fit! I had to remove the metal band and pop off the white wire connector. That also leaves one extra rod bar to rattle in the door. But I used it and it works, just not as described or shown.

It was a perfect fit other than the extra piece that stuck out. It really didn't matter because we got on the door and it works.

I gave this product 2 stars because it’s not an actual identical part and the lock indicator doesn’t slide all the way to show if the door is lock or unlock. The part works but how long is the question?

unit worked but was for front door, no child lock. Box was labeled for rear door.

Lasted 3 months. I replaced all acuators in my truck and front passenger side failed within 3 months
