Highly recommended : Back Bay EQ 35 gets it right !
I just purchased Back Bay AEQ 35 and have been using for last couple of days. My initial impressions are very positive with the base EQ preset (#1). The audio sounds a bit bass-heavy and punchy. I didn't find any significant difference among the presets TBH. However, the audio quality does change a lot with the open v/s closed tips. I prefer the relatively airy feel of the music with open tips. I don't yet feel the lightness or the warm hues in the music put out by the earbud and at this price, honestly I shouldn't be expecting more. But who knows, as the drivers burn in a bit, may be the punchy-ness in the audio quality will mellow down a bit. The AptX low latency does help with the seamless playback and I could get uninterrupted playback even 30 ft (or 2 rooms) away from my mobile...that is very impressive. The battery charges quick and I think I'll get more than 8 hrs as the spec mentions. Looks more premium than its price range and IMO sounds better than expected. The shark fins for ear support could be more comfortable. If you want a BT earbud and don't want to spend anything more than 25-35 bucks - get them without a doubt.

Great buy, don't hesitate.
I am a daily user of Bluetooth headphones and have at least 10 different brands including Bose and Harman Kardon. My rating considers price. If you are expecting $200 sound quality then you will be let down. This are a gem at this price.I haven't tested these on phone calls and suspect they aren't perfect due to the mic location. This has been my experience with all buds and I typically use a headset for calls.Pros:. Solid sound. Not high fidelity as advertised, but good balance. Highs are decent and not tinny at all. Lows and mids are balanced. I'm using aptX codec and prefer over LDAC.Battery is awesome. I've used every day for at least a hour for 5 straight days and still have over 50% battery.Very low latency. When you power up they connect in sub second time. That is always a good indicator of low latency.Fit is good. I wear these at the gym daily and the fit is good. I have never had much luck using stabilizers and these work perfect.Cons:. The only con I see is the EQ,. The instructions aren't very clear on how the EQ works. They say "double press the middle button to cycle the 5 EQ modes. They don't say if they will cycle back to 1 after 5 and tell you to forget the buds in settings to reset to 1. That's a little clumsy IMO. Maybe 4 beeps for EQ setting 4 etc would work better. I get a double beep when I push and honestly don't notice much difference in sound.Bottom line:. Don't hesitate to buy these. They are my new go to buds.

The Back Bay - American EQ-35 Bluetooth Earphones are surprisingly very good!
I've purchased several Bluetooth earbuds in the past but many if not all of them had very short battery life. I haven't had a day yet where these ran out of battery power during an 8 hr. shift. These are very nice in the Battery Life area and they have great sound quality as long as you put them all the way in your ears. The comfort is a bit weird at first if you are not used to the little overlapping rubber piece it will be itchy at first but it does help the earbuds to stay in your ear better. All in all, for earbuds I was very pleasantly surprised, these are an excellent purchase and worth the money easily.

These headphones provide low latency and GREAT sound. Video and audio now sync.
I've been waiting years for a wireless solution for audio latency (video and sound not in sync) when watching videos on hotel TV's and tablets. This combination works PERFECTLY: Avantree's new TC417 Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver ( ASIN: B07JJCZ3WL ) and Back Bay's new Bluetooth headphones ( ASIN: B07QZ4WVZ4 ). Both devices utilize Bluetooth 4.2 with the ATPX codec. Portability and price drove my decision initially, but my expectations were pretty low having had so many disappointments with other device mash-ups. The Avantree transmitter/receiver is very adaptive to audio output connections. The availability of RCA audio connectors on the back of most hotel TV's is where the magic begins. Using the included RCA to 3.5mm male plug adapter, the transmitter took seconds to connect. The onboard battery (or USB charger) power is totally sufficient. When two pair of the excellent Back Bay headphones are paired, the fully adjustable audio is spectacular and totally synced with the video. Problem SOLVED!

Good for glasses wearing people doing chores
I have the BBA Runners but doing somethings causes them to rub on my glasses legs and pop out. So I got these and while they solve the problem they are noticeably quieter. On the Runners I can only tolerate the volume at 65% just to hear the EQ35's as loud as the Runners they need to be on 90%. So if I am in a noisy environment and my podcast gets interrupted I only have so much wiggle room before they max out. I really am hoping this is perhaps a seal issue (I have eartips coming in the mail soon)Note: I also somehow did not get a cable management circle with my accessories. I am surprised but it really isn't needed with these however having a spare one of those was going to be nice.

Bad bluetooth connection
Really disappointed in these. The good- sound quality is excellent and i like the buttons there easy to use on the move. The bad- the bluetooth connection is terrible :( there constantly cutting out in the gym, even with the phone in my pocket, its so bad it even cuts out when i touch the volume button. Also i have a pair of mpow s11 earbuds that are similar that dont do this.Update: been testing these in the gym for over a month now and i cant praise the sound quality enough (the only reason i didnt send them back). I now carry my phone close by me so it has better bluetooth connection (which is disappointing because i always just left my phone in my gym bag with the mpows).... and i cant stand these flat rubbery cords!! Why do they put them in sport earbuds, the problem it creates is that it grips your neck when you moving around which tugs on the earbuds making them loose or fall out. You want round(ish) slippery cords that glide accross you skin, boggles my mind what these companys were thinking because the must of tested these out sitting down.

Excelentes!
