World Map (Antique) Art 24x36 Poster

Beware: Some reviews are saying the poster is different than the pictures. If you look at the pictures, there are 2 maps. If you buy the map by itself, you get one poster, but if you buy the map and frame combo, the map is different. I purchased the map itself and am very happy with it! Does look kind of cheap, but with Mod Podge over top, it gives it a rustic/real look and feel. It does look slightly more orange or "burnt orange" than the picture, but I still like it! I purchased this as part of a craft idea. I took the poster, used Mod Podge to glue it to a 36x24 piece of cork-board, painted Mod Podge over the poster, and then placed it in a picture frame. Overall, I am very happy with it and would definitely purchase it again.

The map is really pretty - colors look a little brighter in person than on this picture, but it still looks antique, but it's a present-day accurate map. Shipped within 2 days of ordering, and the packaging was hard cardboard, so it was not damaged whatsoever in transit. Just a small tip for anyone planning to make their own corkboard travel map with this map - I went by a blogger's suggestion to mod podge this map to a corkboard to create a framed travel tack board, but this map freaked out when I used the mod podge to secure it to the corkboard. It bubbled, wrinkled and did not turn out AT ALL. I should have used spray adhesive instead, and will do that with the replacement I'm ordering today because this makes a great decorator statement piece! It does have a glossy finish, but I went over the top of the map with matte finish mod podge, and that took out the shine and made it look more high-class... except for the bubbling and wrinkling :)

This map poster is absolutely beautiful!! The size is great. And the print quality is top notch. It is a nice smooth glossy print. The colors are vibrant and crisp exactly as pictured. I love every fine detail of the map. I ended up cutting it to fit an old window of mine which turned out beautiful. I used modge podge to apply it to the back of the windows glass which worked great. I did have a small tear when applying it to the window but that was a user ear and has nothing to do with the quality of the poster. Thank you to whoever posted the one they did in there review! I love how mine turned out for my pastors office who was a former traveling evangelist so it means that much more! Shipping was great it came nicely rolled and taped in a sturdy box. No scratches or tears were left on the poster!

I loved this map and it gave a nice vintagey feel. The measurements and pictures were extremely accurate and it was the perfect size. I would be very careful with it because it is definitely easily rippable. The material isn’t very sturdy but it does appear that way. Great purchase!

i love the map. i bought this for my photography and i am not disappointed. the packaging is A+ in my book. So protected that even my husband could not believe that I paid under 6 bucks and it was shipped for free. so satisfied. will def buy again and i do recommend it. it is a little shiny if you want to use it as a photography background, but other than that it's beautiful.

The Antique World Map Art Poster (24x36) is a stunning addition to any space. Its intricate design and vintage aesthetic add character and charm to walls, making it a conversation starter in any room. The high-quality printing ensures crisp detail and vibrant colors, while the large size makes it a focal point without overpowering the decor. Whether you're a travel enthusiast or simply appreciate the beauty of cartography, this poster is a timeless piece that brings a touch of wanderlust and sophistication to your home or office. It made a great addition to me and my partner's world travel corner!

I have to say I was in total shock when I received this map. I ordered it for a project, it was inexpensive, so it was a perfect deal. If I messed up no big loss...right? When I unpacked it, I was amazed at the quality of this map. Nice thick paper...old age look....perfect! This is perfect for framing just the way it comes. You won't be disappointed.

My favorite map! I give them three stars only for one thing that they wrote Arabic gulf instead of the Persian Gulf. The National Geographic Society uses the name Persian Gulf to refer to this body of water, which also is the historic name.

really nice map! glossy and thick just as i was expecting. Thank you.

A 4.95 euro li vale tutti.

This is a great product, absolute bargain. Only bought to use for a wedding table plan but I think I'll keep it and hang it on the wall. It's slightly bigger than A2 and honestly for the price I'm not really sure what people are expecting - the cost of paper alone is almost as much as the actual product. Its got a nice finish too. This has surpassed expectations, great value. Thanks so much for a great product!
