You get what you pay for
This duffel looks great out of the box and I was very happy with it while packing. The fabric is pretty sturdy and the fit an finish is good. Really a necessity to get a bag like this due to the stricter checked bag fees for over sized luggage, this bag is about as large as they allow by the 62" measurement of h+w+l. This bag though did not survive our first trip without almost fatal damage. The telescoping handle no longer telescopes. The bag was damaged somehow in the airport handling. The main reason upon review of the damage, is cheap handle construction that is very susceptible to getting tweaked by normal handling of the bag. A small kink now prevents the handle from telescoping. The bag was packed with 50lbs of clothes and did not appear to have been unduly abused in anyway. My other travel bag that is very similar has heavier gauge metal in the handle construction and has survived several trips with no damage to the telescoping pull handle. This bag cost a bit less than the other bag so I guess they found some ways to make it cheaper that have compromised it's durability. Do not expect this bag to survive airport baggage check for the long term without similar problem. Bag still works but the lack of handle extension is a bit of a nuisance.

So far so good, but I dont know how much longer it will last.
I got this bag in a pinch and it worked for the trip. It flew to Indiana and made it back okay. It has been on about 5 trips now and there is a fair bit of wear. The wheels, frame, and bottom section seem to be holding up well. The large area though looks like it might rip off. I think the issue is that it compresses and the fabric cant take that much movement. Also, no matter how much I try, the buckles never seem to stay tight. I believe this is causing some of the wearing issues on the large storage area.Like I said, it has held up travel all over the USA and I suspect I have a few more trips left in it. I am just not sure how long it will last. For the price, I cant complain too much, but if the buckles worked better and it held up better, it would have gotten a better rating.

Worked for my trip to India
I was skeptical about whether a $40 bag could take the abuse of an 18-day trip to India with 6 flights, numerous bus trips, a train excursion, etc. In the end, it was the perfect size (accommodating purchases too). The main flaw for this 1st trip was the flimsy zip cover to the telescoping handle which ripped and must now be repaired with duct tape. I am not sure why they used such a paperthin cover for that spot; you can practically jam your finger through it. That being said, the telescoping handle cover is not absolutely necessary. My main concern for this trip was the zippers and how they would hold up with all the handling and 45 total pounds; I had no problem. For the price, I think it was a good purchase. Love the red color and that's coming from someone who is strongly devoted to black! p.s. This bag arrived 1-2 days after ordering, wicked quick.

Life SAVER!
I flew to LV to see family and I took a bag that was too heavy AND too big. I spent $250 on that ONE suitcase and that was WITH one of the fee's taken off. RIDICULOUS! Anywho, I was looking for replacement suitcases and for those prices I probably would have just taken the one I had with me back! I found this glorious duffle on amazon but I was so afraid it wouldn't work. I had a LOT of stuff so I purchased two. LET ME TELL YOU, I stuffed those bags so full you couldn't even fit a shirt in it! I was scared it was going to rip and all my stuff would fall from the sky lol. To my surprise, it made it through baggage check and into another airplane, to baggage claim and it was still in perfect condition! They even inspected one and I'm sure they had a heck of a time trying to get it shut! They get dirty pretty easily but that isn't even an issue. I was very pleased and I would recommend to anyone who needs a duffle. Also, THANK YOU Amazon for sending it so fast!

Good...but sad
Everything, with one exception, is great about this bag- the fabric, the weight, the dimensions, the many pockets, the price, the handle and wheels, and much more. It's a great travel bag. The one bad thing is the seams. The fabric seems just as strong as any other bag in its class; however, the seams are very poorly done. My bag came to me already coming apart at the seam for the main zipper. My wife is a great seamstress, so she fixed it. I would recommend this bag to those who are on a tight budget and are handy with a needle and thread or sewing machine (or have a willing member of the family who is).

Great But...
I wanted this bag for the size and the price and everything looks great except that the pull out bar to roll the thing came broken and doesn't really pull out (out of the box) So, I hope for those who buy it your bag may come as mine does. If you wanted it for the pull out bar for easier pull then I would say beware. I don't think it's worth returning but I am very disappointed that it came in this condition.

Great... until I used it once.
I loved the size of the bag and the great price, however I used it only once and it already has a substantial tear. It doesn't look like a puncture-inflicted tear, instead the material tore at the seam, just above the wheels. It is possible the item was mistreated in transit, but most bags receive the same kind of harsh handling, hence the need for a quality made bag. If it had lasted a few times and then tore, I would be a little more accepting, but a bag is meant to last for more than a single trip.Otherwise, the bag feels sturdy and the rollers work great. Perhaps I got a bad bag, but my experience was unsatisfactory. I'll be returning the item if possible.

When will I ever learn
I thought it was a good value until I used it. I guess you can call it a duffle but the material is so thin that you can't really use it regularly and not pay the price of trying to save a few buck to get the job done. Don't put anything of value inside because you will not get good padding or insulation from the elements. If it's just clothes and stuff you don't mind get roughed around or possibly soiled then you found a good product.
