Yuzen Japanese Paper

These papers are beautiful and the quality of them is excellent.

This paper is not at all what is pictured, it is high quality, textured paper but there is no printed pattern as shown in the picture. there are multiple colors and it's nice tissue-type rice paper but don't buy it if you're looking for patterned paper.

Several very nice patterns (2 each of 10 designs = 20 sheets). I wanted red, so I was glad to see in the Q&A that only red is in stock. My favorites were the top sheet (white with shades of red Japanese maple leaves outlined in gold) and a rich purple with pink and white cherry blossoms, also picked out in gold. I think all of them are white on the reverse.My biggest complaint is that the paper clips holding the sheets in the cute fan pattern left substantial dents in each sheet (possibly due to shipping). Fortunately, this was not visible in the folds I was using it for.The sheets have slight variations in texture, but most are a substantial, lightly textured, expensive-feeling paper. Folded well - the color held up well to creases. The foiling definitely rubbed off on my fingertips while folding, but did not completely disappear from the paper. I would recommend it for origami if, like me, you have a small project that just needs a few fancy papers.

It is too beautiful to use. I want to just look at it. Lovely gorgeous papers.Love them.

I loved the patterns, loved the colors but am not in love with the paper. None of it was cut square, not one edge would align properly for me and most of it had the consistency of cheap office printer paper save for a few pieces that were more like the tissue paper you use inside a gift box.

Very nice patterns

This paper isn't the strong, silkscreened origami paper that I expected it to be. The paper is printed like scrapbook paper. The designs are okay and have a lot of metallic ink in them, but the paper is weak for the kind of glueing/bookbinding i wanted to use them for. They might be nice for a special project with kids or scrapbooking backgrounds.Sparkly Treasures was amazing after I voiced my disappointment in this paper. I didn't expect anything since I ordered paper without handling it first but she was very generous and nice to work with.
