Not very good for very siezed ball joints, week threads
Used this on a seized ball joint to try and seperate it but the various tools ended up stripping their threads so not very strong. Now at least 2 of the supplied tools are unuable. Did not end up getting the ball joint split, will have to try and find another solution.

Didn’t work for Mazda MX5 NB. Resorted to pickle fork which did shred the boots but as they were getting replaced it didn’t matter. Lack of tapered edges was an issue. Quality not good either. Definitely not for heavy duty/long term use.

It Has Its Place
These are OK. I’ve used them on about 3 jobs now, both sides of the vehicle. First one was faultless. Second one it didn’t quite fit and had to use some socket sets to get it to work but got there eventually. 3rd one it wouldn’t budge the joint and ended up bending/slipping. So I had to resort to a pickle fork.Fine for things like Tie rod ends but seized up old control arm ball joints, maybe not. It’s cheap and you get what you pay for. You’d have to pay £80+ for a decent one.

Comes in a handy case. Tools are fairly well made, will get you out of trouble. And if you lucky you can use it again 🤣
