It is good window tape works great

good stuff, I used this for a building we put up, the wrap did as it was supposed to, one thing you should know is a few days the temps were in the low 30's here, we had to use a hair dryer to heat up the area so the wrap would stick, on warmer days say 50 and up it was fine. we did 3 large windows and a man door with the product. it was very sticky and once it was stuck to the house wrap it was there. For the price I would suggest this product.

Building a Cabin in remote Alaska.....used this on installing windows to the exterior of the siding.....as per manufacturerer's directions....this stuff STUCK to Rough Sawn Siding!!! It really seals the windows before the finish trim application...I would highly recommend this product and will buy AGAIN anytime I want a great seal! I am also using this on sealing roof under-layment and flashing...works great on all !!! Cheers TIM ....Alaska!

Many people are buying similar products for auto sound deadening. This is not a good choice for that. The material is thin, the backing is not very sticky. The top surface is more of a aluminium plastic. Not malleable to retain grooved shapes etc. As a window wrap it is okay. Still not really sticky enough for outdoor construction real world situations.

This works just like the expensive window wrap in the stores but for half the price. However, I walked into McCoy's this week and found the same wrap for less than $15 a roll; if you have one in the area, check there first.

Tape is thick and strong. It also appears to be self sealing against the staples and nails that penetrate it. It's stiffness works against it compounded by the weak adhesive. The tape won't remain "stuck" when bent around corners of windows. I used caulk to seal the edges.

I used this along with prime wrap (bought on amazon) on a "tiny office." I installed two windows so far with this stuff and its working great. Very nice and thick and sticky, and it has an aluminum foil coating on top which serves as a radiant barrier and will improve radiant insulation. Much better than other more expensive window wraps which don't have any radiant barrier.

Best tape you can buy for sealing windows/doors. I originally tried a big-box store brand, but it was thinner and less sticky. After driving by a commercial construction site, I saw WINDOW WRAP on all their seams. I looked it up here on Amazon, read the reviews, ordered it... and am impressed. I am only a DIY kind of guy, but this stuff was solid for my screen door replacement job.
