My 2.5 year old played with a similar tunnel shaft with a Toys R Us display, so I knew she'd love her own. She loves to watch the trains coming out of the door. The door does swing in and out, so the trains can go either direction. The track inside the tunnel is a secured piece of the tunnel, but you can flip the curved entry track to be a descent from a higher hill. My daughter uses it with her Thomas Wooden Railway and it fits perfectly. I like that the side images are more realistic than whimsical because I think she'll get longer play out of it as she grows up. This tunnel is sturdy for a toddler's play, and fun. And it cost a lot less than the name brand Thomas equivalent.

I love this. It's well made and holds up to the torture of being play with by a toddler.The height of the high end is equal to the height of the Brio draw bridge. So it can easily be connected to that (or anything of that height) with any track piece.The tunnel door on the low end flips both ways so a train and go in / out from either direction.It's been a big hit with the wooden train set in my house. There are a lot of off brand accessories for wooden trains that are total junk. This is a good one.

We get extra parts to my sons wood train track and he loves this pieces has little flap to go through

My 4 year old grandson adores this hidden mine tunnel. It has a little hill inside so the cars shoot out of the bottom. It is sturdy, well made and costs much less that the comparable Thomas mine tunnel. I would buy this again and highly recommend.

This tunnel is great, and my children really enjoy it, with or without other train tracks attached to it. It did, however, have two small chips on the decorative sides upon arrival, which makes me doubt the long-term sturdiness of the item.

A well made piece that my grandson loves. He is three years old and really into trains. He likes that this tunnel can be entered from both directions. We use it with a Brio set and it fits right in- no problem.
