Top Quality Full Face Snorkel Mask ***BONUS*** Easily Converts To PPE
Whether it is surfing, Jet-Skiing, boating, paddle-boarding, swimming, canoeing, fishing, kayaking, or Flyboarding, I love to be in the water. With the new addition of the OUSPT Full Face Snorkel Mask, I will be adding snorkeling to my fun list this summer! This review is split into two sections. First a review of the mask for it's primarily intended use. Second I will share a novel and effective secondary purpose for this high quality piece of equipment. You can convert this mask to an effective PPE (personal protective equipment) device to avoid acquiring the dreaded COVID-19.I tested my mask this past weekend in my friend's indoor pool and here are my impressions:--Clear plastic is flawless and does not distort view when under water even in my peripheral vision.--Silicone seals are sturdy and generously sized. Makes for a positive airtight seal that sticks well to the face.--Genius design separates the nose & mouth into two separate, independent zones. This prevents fogging, keeps water out of your nose and mouth, and makes breathing immeasurably easier through the snorkel as compared to older designs.--One way valves in mouth and snorkel prevent water intrusion, even at depths of 8 feet. (I plan to test at even deeper depths once I get the opportunity).--Straps are made of thick fabric covered elastic that attach to sturdy plastic buckles. They adjust easily and then stay snugly in place which assists in securing the mask behind a good seal that does not loosen underwater.--Carrying bag is actually made of thick, cushiony mesh material that will prevent scratches when subjected to mild or moderate treatment. As an added measure of protection, I went one step further and decided to place my mask inside a large winter ski cap as an added level of protection when traveling. I don't want any scratches on that perfectly clear mask that might obscure my view underwater! As I indicated above, one ingenious thing that folks are doing with these snorkel masks is creating a really, really good respirator-style mask to protect themselves from COVID-19. A quick internet search will provide dozens of websites with written and video instructions from all over the world that demonstrate how to convert this snorkel into effective personal protective equipment..The estimated protection level is said to be closer to that of an N98 respirator which is substantially better than a typical N95 mask. When fitted properly, no air should be leaking in from around the sides. Your whole face is also covered which effectively prevents infection through the most common avenues which are touching of the face, nose, mouth and eyes. Adding a filter to the snorkel, this full face mask virtually eliminates all of the ways for you to become infected with the COVID-19.I took a small HEPA filter cartridge for a desktop air purifier (3" by 3") that I bought off Amazon and I secured it to the snorkel tube with self-sealing tape, ensuring an air tight seal. Again, when fitted properly around the face, the one-way valves that are located inside this snorkel mask help to ensure that all of the air you inhale as it enters the mask must pass through a HEPA filter before entering your nose or mouth. This mask is a well-designed, premium quality product. It will not only serve you well during leisure times for fun, but also during this difficult period we are now experiencing. When used properly, it could be worth it's weight in gold! Stay healthy out there, good luck and Godspeed!

Works better than other full face masks I've tried
Recommended, I'm happy with this mask!I've tried about 5 different types of full face masks and I like this one the best. Three exit valves (one below chin, two in sides of snorkel) for exhalations is much better than just one below. Less CO2 build up, easier to breathe out, obviously, and the face mask stays fog free - only full face mask I've tried that stays fog free. The strap tightening method looks the same as all the others except for the quick release, but I was able to tighten the mask after putting it on much easier than the others I've tried for some reason. That's a nice feature because with the others you have to tighten the straps before you put it on, so it's much harder to get on. You have to get it really tight (every one I've tried) to keep water out, but it still gets in a little if the snorkel dips into the water, so I wouldn't recommend this for free diving. I just use this for swimming in my fitness center's swimming pool, so I don't have to breath to the side when there is another swimmer in the next lane which is good to hopefully avoid getting the flu or colds not to mention the coronavirus. To be extra safe I take a standard surgical mask, cut off the ear loops and cut it in half horizontally, then it fits nicely into the mask over the two inhalation valves in the nose area. It works well, but you have to cut it in half because if the lower half is near the chin level, moisture builds up and it gets hard to breathe. If water does get in, it drains out of the lower exit valve when you hold your head out of the water, so obviously if there is mask material there it will just soak that up.Fit is a little better than the other masks, because you have to really get it tight to prevent leaks and with the others my nose and chin would touch the mask in an uncomfortable way. Doesn't happen with this mask, the forehead area is a little uncomfortable but that's about it. Probably will get better when the mask is better broken in.I just bought another one for a spare. The plastic looks a little flimsy (on all of them) so I don't expect it to last a long time, but the price is low enough that it is cheap enough to just buy a new one periodically so I'm not too worried about it breaking.

Worked Perfectly !
We bought a couple of these full face snorkels and used them absolutely every day for our week long vacation in Cape San Blas , Florida. They worked perfectly the entire time, we had an adult sized one and youth sized and both were just great.
