Fun in the Tub: Creating Bath Bombs, Solid Bubble Bath, Bubble Frosting and Bubble Scoops

This book is awesome. There's lots of different recipes for different weather. I love the high humidity recipe.The beginning of the book focuses on the science behind bath bombs and how to develop your own base recipe for your area.Like anything, bath bombs are a bit of an art. Those that nasay the book may not have the skills honed just yet.I watched a lot of videos. Read a lot of books. This one was developed by very skilled bath bomb artists. If you join their fb group, they'll help with any issues or questions that arise personally.

First of all, I'd like to mention that I was not gifted this book, purchased it myself so I am not affiliated at all :)This book is worth every penny. Now there is nothing in it earth shattering, no info that you cannot find anywhere else in the world. BUT... How valuable is your time? How much money have you spent on supplies for trial and error?It would take you weeks if not months to learn the info you can learn in 2 hours by reading this book. No more failed batches going to trash. No more relying on random recipes you found on the internet cause you will learn how to create your own recipes. You don't wanna create your own recipe? That's fine too cause Amanda has shared her trustworthy recipes in this book :)Oh and those designs you see online and have no clue how people make? Well they are also in this book :)

This book is fantastic. It has made all the difference in my product. For me it helped me to understand the role humidity plays when making bombs and how to compensate for it. It breaks down nicely how the different ingredients can be manipulated to improve my product.

I am so happy that I purchased this book, it has all of the information that I needed to learn this craft.

I read the first 6 pages and this is what I needed to formulate my own! I love how she broke down the formulation so you can be creative!

I've been making bath bombs ever since my first trip to a Lush in London 20+ years ago. Have read many books. This is to bath bombs and bubble bars what Robert S. McDaniel's Essentially Soap is to soap. The last one I'll ever need to buy, and worth every penny.

I was having a real tough time finding a recipe that worked. It's really humid where I live and I got alot of knowledge from this book. Only thing I wish it had was how to stay fda compliant but she may not live in the us so she may not even know but still 10/10 for me.

This is a wonderful book for anyone interested in bath bombs, shower steamers, bubble bars, etc. Amanda goes into a great amount of detail to describe everything (additives, colors, mixture, etc.). She includes a lot of different recipes. Just made one of her recipes and it came out perfectly - no issues at all. I highly recommend this book.

Objectively this is a good book, it will teach you how to make a bath bomb but it is massively overpriced. It is very thin, 70 pages and around half of that are pictures, the font is large and it uses graphic design tricks to make it look like there is more content than there is, it is in total just a few pages of text really. The claim that there is 25+ recipes there is not really true, unless you count the exact same recipe with blue or yellow colour powder two recipes. There are really only five different recipes in there: for a bath bomb, a menthol shower steamer, cocoa butter drizzle, solid bubble bath and pipeable bubble frosting, everything else is just variations of the same with maybe one different ingredient, for example all the recipes for solid bubble bar and bubble scoops are exactly the same recipe with different colour mica powders, same for bath bomb recipes, I would call them ideas rather than recipes, it does have some useful theory but nothing you couldn’t find for free on the internet, if you have a very specific issue with your bath bombs you won’t likely find an answer here, it is a useful book for beginners to get you started but just not worth this much.

It is a thin book, all the information that you need is in this book. Especially if your a beginner. Please read this book from start to end it’s how it was written and you will get a lot out of it.Just made a bath bomb from this book. It worked really well the fizz and the bubbles were amazing. Me and my family use a lot of bath bombs and I was told that the one that I made was the best that they have used. And I got the recipe from this book. Thank you book is worth every penny.
