Colored Pencils
I love these colored pencils! I have never had such a great quality of pencils. They are lightweight and I love the design. They are easy to write with. I have carpal tunnel so my grip of pencils isn't great. Due to this, I did drop the pencils occasionally. But the held up fine and did not snap or break. They are a bit out of the typical price range in which I purchase colored pencils but they are worth the money.

Soft and bright
The media could not be loaded. Quality pencils and design, softer and brighter than my previous set and easy to use. My drawings were a bit dull with my previous cheap set. This feels more quality!

Always my fav
I love these colored pencils. They blend so smoothly and are really hard to break. If you want to invest in some thick, smooth, blend-able colored pencils, these are the way to go!

good value for the money
These are very nice colored pencils. They blend well with each other to make shading easy. There are enough colors that it is easy to make a cartoon to use as a pattern and color plan. The reviews were so positive that I decided to spend more than usual. I am very happy with this purchase.

Pretty darn good but not top notch
Never expanded my artistic skills until recently. Don't get me wrong...I can draw but I quit drawing in grade school, although, I still have the spark in me. I am broadening my skills in painting,sketching/drawing, coloring/shading. So many things to learn but onto the review. Upon reading other reviewers I can def tell there are a few that are well made and color like a dream and some colors, not so much. I love how intense these are and I have paired this with studio series pencils. I will attach a pic so you can see. I will also add an additional pic so you can see how both brands blend with the prismablender.Update: the pics are a poor comparison as studio series sucks donkey [insert]! I will attach a photo of a page I colored in my book using verithins and premiers. Note: the lower left corner (flowers) I had used studio series and it was HORRID! I layered premiers over it to fix it but to no avail. I think I will add scholars to my collection and test em out. Each color is a hit or miss and I hate the wax buildup and grain. FYI to others, best if you purchase the biggest set because not having all colors truly suck! The verithins are cheap for their largest set and includes colors I didn't get in the 40+ set. I made a dumb move by purchasing the 20+ then the 40+ set and have dupes. Each set isn't random and that's why I say just get the whole sha-bang. Now I think I will get the largest of scholars cuz there's many colors that I don't have.Update:Sorry to do this to you guys, long review! I posted a pic of FC polys, prisma premier, and Caran D'ache luminance blended with the prisma blender and Caran D'ache blender. Sorry i did not take my time during the sample test. Premiers are to the right, 2 rows of polys to the left, and Caran D'ache smack in the middle. hope you can see the pic. Click on my name and read my reviews for more info, including, finally finding a sharpener! Rotary sharpeners are looked down upon BUT I ignored and tried one out and people that talk down are WRONG. Prisma colors are great for anything and on the cheaper end of the spectrum compared to other high quality products. The dahle sharpener in my reviews will make you fall in love with your prismas all over again. Caran D'ache pencils are everything good you've already heard and more! I didn't think I'd like them but I think I like them more than polys and prismas. If you own all the prisma premiers then no need to purchase anything else UNLESS you're like me and curious to know the feel, performance, and if you are an artist wanting more. It is true that FC and Caran D'a are superior compared to prisma and you can feel the diff but each has their own colors/some the same and very diff feel in quality. Hope my reviews help and good luck!**the hawk was done using prisma, polys, and Caran d'a luminance.

Super pigmented pencils
These color pencils are super pigmented and go on super smoothly! I did a bunch of tests with them coloring both lightly and with more pressure to see how both applications of it would look. I also tested them against different brands to see how they would hold up and was very satisfied by the results. The pros are that the colors are very vibrant, and apply super smoothly. They don't have that "chalky" look that some other cheaper colored pencils have.I also found that you don't have to press too hard to get color payoff. Previously I only used casual and cheaper colored pencils which required me to apply a lot of pressure to get the pigment I was looking for but that's not a problem with these Prismacolor pencils.Mixing colors to create gradients is super easy and the colors really blend together in a seamless way. There is also a wide array of colors and shades available in this kit that is great for someone who needs a pack that covers all the bases. My main cons are the price point. The quality of the pencils are fantastic so I don't regret the purchase but I do wish they weren't so expensive. And lastly it's more of a nitpick, but I wish the colored pencils were arranged in color order. The colored pencils don't appear to be in any order, but again it's not a deal breaker, just a slight annoyance.Overall I'm super pleased with these! I'd definitely recommend them for casual and professional artists.
