Overall, a great buy, exactly as advertised, quality for your money
The CleanRide seat covers are a great, mobile, tough product. They are indeed waterproof, which is great for the sweaty monster I am after CrossFit. Really, really simple to install. They have ample size to cover the whole seat, both in length and width of my 2014 4Runner. They do not smell, amazingly, as advertised. They are comfortable on the skin, I dont know that i'd describe it quite like "silky", they have a synthetic fiber feel, like say a polypropylene that you get in alot of your atheletic clothing these days; so it's still plenty comfortable. About sticking to the skin, they do adhere to my skin, not like tape or anything, but I am totally drenched in sweat when I use them so I think it's more my skin being wet than it is the material. When I'm dry, there's no problem with sticking to skin. The only thing I think there's room for improvement on is how they fasten to the seat. Currently, it has a velcro seal to the hooks, which hang from the posts of the head rest and that's plenty stable it doesn't rip off. There is also a seam about midway down the seatcover that's meant to be tucked into the fold of your seat, around your lumbar back. For the most part, this holds the seat cover well. Also I think it's designed not to be strapped down seriously for your seat; and designed to be easily removed and put into place on the go.Personally I'd probably like another elastic strap low on the seat cover to fit around the base of the carseat, around perhaps your feet to fasten the bottom portion. The bottom portion can slide around, especially when you get into or out of the car. However, again it's probably not in the design to be well fastened because they made it to be taken on and off easily.Overall, a great buy, exactly as advertised, quality for your money

It is easy to put back in place
This works very well on the car seat. The sides of the upper piece and bottom piece want to fold in when getting in and out. It is easy to put back in place. DO Not put on the seat and leave the car parked in sun - You will not want to sit on it because it gets very hot. The cover does provide excellent protection to your seats and are easily cleaned with mild soap and the hose. The cover dries very quickly (air dry) and can be used again quickly. I use this for my handicapped son who has accidents sometimes in the car and it works very well.

Great seat covers with one hitch (forget the hitch...)
I really like these seat covers. They are nondescript, simple in design, look good and do a great job of protecting the front seats. Not sure they were intended to be left on but I don’t take them off. They keep crumbs, etc. off the seats when I’m nibbling. My only complaint, is there needs to be a left and right headrest clip or velcro on both sides. As designed, the clips slide right to left around the headrest posts. This is fine for the passenger’s side, but the driver’s side clip has a tendency to slide to the right as the driver’s gets in and the cover falls off the upright seat back. If the clip could be reversed this wouldn’t happen. The one on my driver’s side had slid almost off and was hanging on one post by the outer clip arm. I didn’t notice that and when I sat down the arm on that clip took my entire weight and broke. I’ve ‘repaired’ it with a thin slat of wood and Gorilla tape, but it’s an ugly fix. I contacted CleanRide to see if I could purchase another clip, but have yet to hear back from them. If I can come up with a replacement I will look into putting a strip of industrial strength velcro on the other side.UPDATE: Just changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I contacted CleanRide this morning via Amazon and they got back to me in very short time. I inquired about purchasing a replacement clip. They're replacing it free of charge. Here's part of the reply: "We would like to send you one free of charge because we always put our customers first. You are the bedrock of our business." They said to make sure the crease is tucked into the seat which allows for some slack and prevents too much pressure on the clip. Makes sense. One can't ask for better customer service than that!

Almost perfect, except for that seam...
This thing does what it says, with one exception. There is a non waterproof sewn seam between the seat bottom and seatback. When I get in my car dripping sweat and drive the mile back to my house, I take the CleanRide out as soon as I get home. Due to this seam, there is a line of standing liquid in the crevice of my leather seats. A quick wipe and it's gone, but the sweat gets through just the same. I'm sure that this seam can be waterproof, WetOkole seems to be able to do it with their neoprene covers.

Creative Design, Quality Product
I've driven with the product for about a week. I work out most mornings and I'm drenched in sweat when I get back in my car. Most evenings I mountain bike and I'm covered in dirt and sweat. After a week, the CleanRide material still look's new. It stayed in place for the most part. Cotton shorts do not slide on the material as well as my synthetic workout shorts or bike shorts, so it did begin to pull the velcro strap apart, as well as exposing the seat slightly from entry side. To cure this, I wedged some of the material into the back of the seat. The plastic headrest attachment is easy to install and worked on both my Infiniti Q40 and my mom's Camry. It look's to be designed to work for any headrest. The velcro attachment makes it easy to remove for cleaning. My guess is the the velcro will eventually wear, as with each sitting, it has some tension . Too early to tell how many cycles it will take, but my guess is years, with daily driving, which would be probably time to replace it anyway.
