BMW Windshield Washer Concentrate (3-Pack)

If you own a BMW, you need to buy this windshield washer concentrate. This is the best price I could find it at and you CANNOT use the other brands or generic washer fluid. Why? Because the reservoir is located in the panel behind the front passenger wheel. The lack of exposure to light and/or normal engine compartment operating temperatures will allow algae/ mildew to grow which will plug up your windshield washer pump's filter (ask me how I know :/) This product has an anti-fungal or some such in it.The good news is, if that has happened to you (pump no longer pumpy) and you are marginally handy - as opposed to fully handy, you can remove the tire, remove the plasticized fiberboard wheel well cover, unscrew a couple of bolts, slide the reservoir forward, pull the no pumpy pump off the bottom of the reservoir, clean the filter of the ectoplasm that has built-up, and it should work again. That 30 minutes of effort will save you $300-$500 at a shop where they will probably just replace the pump and tell you it is bad.All that said, buy this concentrate and mix it with a gallon jug of distilled water. Half a bottle of this concentrate (8oz) to one gallon of distilled water and your windshield wiper fluid is good to about 28 degrees Fahrenheit.

I know this product works great bc it’s what’s in my BMW right now. This was packaged very nice and did not leak at all. I’ve received so many shipments of other liquids / creams that have just been thrown in a box or envelope and you have 1/3 of the product when you revive it. This was not the case for this. In my opinion this is a very reasonable price too for BMW products.

I have had the dreaded algae build-up (search the BMW forums for it) which required the dealership to remove the wheel and get to the washer reservoir to clean the pump. Luckily it was covered under warranty; however, one day it will not be.For the price it's worth it to me to hedge my bets and use this OEM fluid. It could make no difference, but I don't use the fluid that much anyway in sunny California. I've never had to do this for any other make of car except BMW so it's a "feature"!Good luck!

Real BMW fluid…..keeps the washer system flowing.

More sensible than shipping a bunch of water around. Works well.

As much as the cheap blue stuff is tempting this BMW washer fluid is superior and leaves no stains. One bottle plus water fills the resevior.
