Windsong Balsam Pine Fragrance Oil (60ml) For Diffusers, Candles, Home Scents, Linen Spray, Slime

Very interesting smell. The base notes are that of pine needles. But on top of that there is a strong floral smell that fills up the nostrils in pleasantly weird way. On the first day, I was not sure if I liked those floral notes on top (a bit like how when you add hops into honey mead, the taste is richer in a weird way... try Nordic Honey mead, its great!) as I was not expecting it. I was expecting the smell of a forest up in the mountains. You know, usually pine has a strong refreshing smell. But after a day or two, this fragrance concoction has become a favorite. Is this how Balsamic pine really smells like? I am not sure. The smell is strong enough to waft through the 2 rooms in the house (one of them very large). I like it. The smell of pine is of course a Northern Hemisphere foresty thing. The floral smell is that of tropical flowers prepared for the Gods in South Asia when asking for their blessings. This mix of the two is kind of interesting. I feel I am in a tropical island but with pine trees instead of palm trees. A strange dream. But not bad. Another vision is that of Polynesian beach people dancing dressed only in flowers (instead of maybe bear skin and furry jackets) in a Norwegian winter forest covered with snow. I am not completely sure of what to think of this vision either. But I like it. I put this fragrance oil on the diffuser every waking hour and it helps me keep my mind on my work. I hope I have given a reasonably complete description of what this beautiful yet strange smell is.

I have tried several different oils just trying to find the perfect Christmas tree scent. I have found it at last!! This scent brings back many childhood memories. I will definitely buy more of this one.

Love the scent for “real feel” on my new artificial tree. Sad they sent cinnamon vs. the Christmas blend, but balsam was great!

I haven't used this oil yet so I can't speak for it's longevity. Smells great.

The Balsam Pine scent is really strong!!! It kind of has a soap smell to it. Don't like that at all! I use essential oils to make my house smell great by summering it on the stove!! I had to put Cinnamon powder in it to calm the Balsam Pine scent down. If ya like a strong Pine scent, you'd like this!!!

This oil is used on top of a glass plate in 2 small, glass oil buning vessels. The diameter of the plate is 4" and we place about an 1/8 teaspoon of oil on each plate, which lasts for about 6 hours of burn time. The aroma is very natural aithout a chemical odor and it permeates a large living area. It's like having a Forrest in the room! After 2-3 applications, the glass plate will accumulate a gold residue which is easily wiped out. This product exceeded our expectations!

The scent wasn’t as long lasting as I thought it would be.The scent itself is good....not too strongI liked it while I could smell it....
