Not worth buying
Product arrived in time. Packing was good. The product is in three pieces: the main block, the blade and a handle to press the blade. We have to insert the blade into a slit hole, press the blade using the handle so that it doesn't slip off, and then use the planer on the required surface. Main block is heavy but the handle is of low quality, and its screw might break any time. I bought this gadget for setting a bathroom door (which became too tight to close) right, but this planer is a pain to use. It took me lot of time to do the job, and the result was not fully satisfying. Not worth buying!

Not a quality product !
Needed this tool and ordered after seeing few positive reviews. Packaging was very bad, the blade was stunt in few places already. Packaging box was torn already. This tool poorly made, poorly designed and over all the quality is not good at all. The width of the blade is smaller, it is not sitting tightly. It is such a simple tool, too bad to see that the maker of this tool are interested in money, not providing a quality one. Make in India is a pity of these kind of low quality tools are sold online. RETURNED, no other way.

Nice tool to have handy
A great product, I sorted out all my doors at home which were tight in the door frame. Did not need to call a carpenter. Now my doors are closing smoothly. The blade came sharp, but I made it sharper for a lighter smith glide. Overall a great tool but then what do you do with it after you have fixed all your problematic doors and windows? Maybe start a new hobby, or start a carpenter service. Or just lend it to someone who needs it. Definitely don't return it to Amazon.😉

My review after 2 weeks of usage
As many mentioned, the blade is not ready to use. Please buy a sharpening stone, as you will anyway require it during repeated usage.After shapening the blade, insert into the planer. As always for a planer, the blade should project only very very slightly (the thickness of a hair strand) from the bottom surface.I got excellent results with this planer. Please watch some YouTube videos on blade sharpening process.
