The Art of Vampire Knight: Matsuri Hino Illustrations

I'm in love with its details that is so high quality and interesting to read and gaze at Matsuri's art progress as she develops the story and style for Vampire Knight. I love the pullout page spread as well!

Beautiful art book everything is magnificent

I'm a huge fan of Vampire Knight and Matsuri Hino has one of the most beautiful art styles I've ever seen, so naturally, I had to get this. The main thing that kept from giving this 5 stars was the dust jacket; I was expecting it to be on glossy paper, but it's not, so the cover image is kind of dull compared to the glossy images inside. Also, there's not a whole lot of new pictures in here; it's mostly the cover art from the different volumes and the various pictures that appear before the chapters. However, these pictures are stunning in color, so if you're a fan, you will not be too disappointed! The part I enjoyed the most was the section that shows how the cover image was created; as an artist myself, I really enjoyed seeing how Matsuri Hino went through the creatvie process to come up with such a beautiful piece. All in all, if you're a major fan, definitely pick this up, but you're just a casual fan, maybe get if you can buy for less than $20.

Bought for a friend for their birthday. Images are really nicely printed and it's a nice, large size. I’ve always been a fan of the art, and any girl will love the gorgeous gothic lolita fashion and vampires 🧛‍♂️

The pictures are beautiful, the book is large and all the pages are in color. The images are clear with stunning colors. I truly love it, it is a great collector item for fans of Vampire Knight.

I would have gave this 5 out of 5 stars, but the dust jacket was messed up. And I was really disappointed but besides that the book is just amazing. When I receive it; it was like just indescribable. And I would SOOO recommendation to buy this if you a fan of Vampire Knight🤍🩸

The art in this book is absolutely fabulous. As a fan of both the anime and the manga, I really enjoyed seeing more artwork (and in full color, too!). The poster inside is nice, too, although I had to be very careful about removing it; I recommend using an Xacto knife instead of scissors. However, the book was slightly damaged when it arrived. Something sticky had been dripped on the front cover, messing up the dust jacket. While the book itself is top quality, I do wish that whatever warehouse it had been kept in was better maintained.

Muy bonitas las ilustraciones solo como Matsuri Hino sabe hacerlas, los datos del final son lo mejor. Lo recomiendo si eres fan de Vampire Knight.

Really worth the money!! Let me tell you right now, the quality of this is beautiful. Not only are the illustrations just breathtaking, but the cover, size and quality of the paper used is great. There is a poster (of the book cover art) included, and a section at the end where Matsuri Hino shows how she illustrated the cover art, step by step (including pics of the Copic markers she uses and everything.) I’m really glad I bought this! For anyone who is a fan of vampire knight, it’s a must have (and maybe even a good Christmas/birthday gift idea!) - first pic is one of my fave drawings in the book -
