Skorpion Multi Terrain Skates - Large Silver / Black

Have had skates before but these are the best, they roll smooth and very fast. Great buy. Thanks for a great product.

I really wanted to like these because where I live there are no smooth pavements on which to skate, so we are left with rough roads or cracked concrete with a lot of rocks.I had built myself a pair of off road quads a while back with larger trucks and off-road wheels, but stupidly sold them when I thought I was done skating. They were perfect and I will be trying to buy them back.I began to miss skating an decided to give the Skorpions a try.I am an experienced quad skater, having spent my teenage years on quads almost every day, and all of my adult years dance skating on quads.These skates are very unwieldy - the base is far to low and wide for comfort, and the lack of a toe stop forces you to use hockey stops....not something quad skaters are used to. The ride is unnaturally wide for a quad and on rocky grass I fell a few times due to the lack of traction. Off road skates require some traction and grip, which these do not have.Mind you, I will be practicing on these more in order to get some kind of use out of them, but I regret not having purchased the regular Skorpions, which would probably do just as well on multi terrain surfaces as this one, with a more natural stance.

to wide to skate in, my feet kept hitting together and im an avid skater. t was going to return them but the shipping and restocking fee was high so ill sell them on craigslist

We ordered these some time ago and I forgot to write a review. They work great and the do work quite well over dirt terrain. We live where there are dirt roads and our dogs pull us. Good product.
